We loved all the food served mothers day at Eddie's, great food, great staff what more can you ask for. Wish we had an Eddie Merlot's in Mesa.
Had dinner there a few days ago (Friday). We sat on the patio, which was perfect.
Our dinner was Amazing. Our service was excellent. The GM runs a great team. Love this place.
Great experience! The staff and dining room was very COVID compliant! Staff was super friendly and were glad to see us. Tables were
spread out for social distancing. The staff was wearing masks and gloves, the silverware was rolled in napkins. They had us box our leftover food at the table for safety. Menu was outstanding. The Manhattan cocktail was awesome. Had the calamari, ribeye, sea bass with lobster, brussel sprouts, scalloped potatoes and wedged salad. We will be back. First class act!
In town for business, I googled steakhouse and looked at reviews and picked Eddie Merlot’s based on what others have said.
It lived up to expectations. My server, I believe his name was Robert, was excellent, very knowledgeable and made great recommendations.
I started with the Calimari with three dips, the mustard and wasabi dips were phenomenal (even asked for more mustard sauce)
I ordered the 12 oz bone-in filet, but there weren’t any 12 oz so I paid for the 16. Which is a bigger filet than I would normally eat but it was excellent as well. I had the garlic mashed potatoes on the side which were creamy and very flavorful.

Best steak Ribeye I've had in my life! The Bourbon sauce added an amazing taste to the already perfect Ribeye. Deserts were very big and excellent presentation!
The waitress Denise completely made our night, the best in the businesses! She is so thoughtful and thinks ahead always ready with the next suggestion for food, wine and desert!
Where do I begin? This restaurant is exceptional! I initially called the restaurant to book for a group dining event in one of their private banquet rooms, and I was immediately able to get assistance from their sales manager, Donna. In spite of her title as sales manager, she was more interested in the client than just sales figure. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and immediately offered us truly something that fits our event from budget to setting up. She was very thorough and on the day of, delivered! I highly commend her service.
On the day of, staff were very pleasant. They made sure that we got everything we need and paid careful attention to instructions before our guests arrived, and our evening went smoothly without any hitch. The ambience was perfect, accommodating, and fitting! Everyone enjoyed their food. We got their salad and Fillet Mignon and it was exquisite. All our guest that evening left the restaurant pleased. It's a breath of fresh air to be truly treated like valued customer and to experience their food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back to them for future events in Scottsdale. Kudos to Eddie Merlot's! Thank you and well done!
Just had dinner here Tonight with my Wife. It was our first time at Eddie Merlot’s and it was superb. The drinks, appetizers, entree’s, wine, dessert and espresso, all was first rate. The staff, our server and the manager were very attentive. I can’t say enough good things about it; we’ll certainly be back and often.
Great place, with great service. They've reduced the price of the take out menu though they did not need to! We ordered 2 steaks, two sides to go and it was flawless when we got home. Can't wait to experience it again with the live music they usually have.
We travel quite a bit and are always on the lookout for a good mealtime experience. Last night we soon realized that a touch of rain had driven all the locals inside and found no reservations left for us that don’t care about “weather”. So we took a chance and walked in. “No tables”. So we said how about the bar?
Took a moment but it wound up being the best meal we had here in Scottsdale this week. Great food. Nice people. Pleasant ambiance.
Food and service was excellent. Nice happy hour offerings. The bacon wrapped bourbon shrimp was amazing! The only reason I gave 4 stars was the atmosphere. The overall decor felt a bit outdated for a newer restaurant to the area.
The manager was friendly; the staff was attentive and helpful. Cocktails were yummy and appetizers were delicious. The entrees were perfectly prepared to our requests, fresh and tasty. The "must have" side dish on the menu is the Hash browns; deliciously crispy on the outside and flakey, scrumptious potato goodness on the inside! We had tableside Bananas Foster for dessert, so finished with dinner AND a show! Thanks Bill and all the staff at Eddie's; great job, well done!
