Very nice setting back from the street. The outside seating was a big plus. The Caesar salad was different because the dressing was not the classic dressing I am used to.....but it was still excellent. The pizza crust was perfect and the sauce (both pesto and tomato) were very basic but excellent flavor. Toppings were top quality and delicious. Another + was the Moretti on tap. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
Il Bosco Pizza is a hidden gem in Scottsdale. Well deserved five stars. We ordered Gabriella which is pepperoni and Hatch chili...it was delicious. Dessert was fresh and just as good. I’ll be making this drive for my pizza now.
Quality pizza at a reasonable price. The stuffed peppadew peppers w/ spicy Italian sausage were unique. They were tasty with a good mix of sweet and spicy. The sausage was excellent. This was a great dish, but the portion size could have been a bit larger. The chopped salad was enough for three to four people with a good mix of ingredients. The pizza was tasty, cooked perfectly, and served hot with a nice crust. Chantel was a friendly, professional, and attentive server. Will definitely go back.

We arrived on a Friday evening. We walked inside and were told we can sit anywhere we find a spot and there were a few tables for two near the front. We sat down and the waitress came over right away and took our drink order. We ordered two beers off their happy hour menu. We then noticed how wobbly the table was. The table was also incredibly weathered. So much so that it was peeling and has sharp points on it. They really need to either put covers on the tables, refinish them or just order new ones. In addition the chairs are metal and very uncomfortable. They have that waffle weave pattern so as I got up to go to the rest room, I found the pattern imprinted on my legs...sigh. The patio is really quaint and has nice outdoor lights outside. If it is a good weather day, this is definitely a great option.
We ordered a pizza and the chopped salad. The salad had Romaine, sopressata, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and was dressed with a balsamic reduction. It was really fresh and crisp. We would order it again. We also ordered the Joanna pizza. It is a red sauce pizza with spicy sausage, spicy pepperoni, mozzarella cheese. We really enjoyed it. We will be back.
Cute restaurant, nice atmosphere. Just very small inside. Very nice outdoor space as well, just too hot to eat outside. It would have been a better experience had there not been a table with two women and four, very noisy and rowdy children. Menu is short, a few appetizers, and a larger number of 12" pizzas. We ordered two pizzas and a couple of happy hour beers. Chantel, our waitress was very good, and very attentive.The pizzas were tasty, the pepperoni and hatch green chili was the better of the two. Plenty of food for two. No dessert that I am aware. We will come back some time and try some of the other specialty pizzas .
My husband and I came for my birthday, we just wanted a low key celebration. The pizza was absolutely AMAZING! It definitely made its way to the top of our “go-to pizza” list! We were already talking about the next time we’re going back, before we even left 😂
We were also very impressed with the reasonable prices, especially for the Scottsdale area.

IL Bosco our favorite family meal! Pizza is incredibly delicious, the staff is phenomenal and Jeff the Owner is the absolute best! Our youngest is Jeff and IL Bosco’s biggest littlest fan! She’s even asked to have her birthday dinner there 2 years in a row. The Dona is our favorite with pancetta, roma tomatoes, shaved parm, mozzarella with burrata added to it. It is mouthwateringly great. The meatballs are just the right size to share and taste just like my Nonna used to make and the Caprese is enough to share for the 4 of us. You can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas or starters! Definitely a must go and then keep coming back because you will be hooked!
We live this place. Now that the weather is cooler they have live music on the patio. It just makes it an even better dining experience. We go 2 times a month on average. We have never had a bad experience. The service is great. The pizzas always are great. We have sampled other dishes as well and all have been good. I hesitated to write a review as I didn’t want this place to become crowded. But it’s too good to not share. I will be a regular patron for many years to come.
Really good pizza. Not much else on the menu (except some appetizers, which were also very good). Bit of a back street hole in the wall place; most of the seating is outside). Not fancy, but great pizza and excellent service.
If I could give 6 Stars to our experience last night I would. Riley was our server. She was terrific! Engaging, personable, efficient!! The food: the pizzas were tops! The cannoli was delicious! The patio dining hit the mark. My advice…just go and enjoy!
Food was fresh, reasonably priced and tasty!
We got a pizza and soda and we’re surprised just how great the food was! Would come here for a date night or to hang out with friends on the patio. We took Lyft so not sure about parking situation but it’s in a cool area.
Didn’t like seating situation inside -but again, food and service was absolutely awesome and I’m glad we visited!
