Awesome dessert style doughnuts, but what really sets it apart is the selection of vintage arcade games. Worth a stop if you have a day in Savannah.
As someone who has been on the hunt for a great donut place w/ a nerdy atmosphere: This is the place. The staff is so sweet, and whenever the owner is in, his passion and love for this store radiates to everyone who comes in. Of course, as a new store, there are some things they have to figure out. I'm not going to deny that when we've gone later in the day, there wasn't a huge selection. But: you're paying for a small business, a unique and safe atmosphere for kids, students, and adults, and you're there for an amazing donut (no matter what!) And a cup of coffee. If you wanted chain-store corporate donuts like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme--- go there. They aren't going to whip out dozens and dozens of copy paste donuts for you, sorry. Small batch, lovingly made donuts are always going to be better. ❤
8 bit donuts is an awesome new place to grab coffee, play board and videogames, and eat donuts! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the games are free if you make a purchase. While they're working on making their variety more wide in terms of the menu, the different themed donuts every day is super cool. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the food quality was amazing. The donuts are filling and tasty, you can definitely tell they were homemade. If you go in the afternoon it's nice and quiet, the mornings are when they're busy and have most of their stock. Definitely worth a stop by after you've had dinner at The Chromatic Dragon just down the road or if you're looking for donuts in the morning.
We stopped in to have a unique donut experience and that we did! The donuts are very good, the drinks are good and the staff are so friendly! We liked this place so much we took some donuts to go on our drive back home. Highly recommend, the atmosphere is neat too. You can play video games while you wait.
Easily the best donut shop I’ve been to. Donuts are made on site, free to play arcade and local events on the regular makes this an amazing place to go to, wether on vacation or if you live in town.
Love this spot. Come here every Sunday for a coffee and to play some cards. The salted caramel donuts are the bomb! The owner is chill, and always great with any questions. Definitely stop by here if you haven’t.
This isn't any massively large game store, but it's quality and has a great atmosphere. It's terribly obvious that the owners have a passion for what they do, and they're personable and easy to talk to. Besides the obvious selling games, dice, etc, they do have tables to play at and sell some damned good donuts. The gaming theme is throughout everything in the shop. Love it, will definitely be back!
Staff members are very knowledgeable and very helpful for all things geek! Donuts were delicious, game cabinets in great condition, good selection on board games and cards for magic in particular. If you're looking for a quick game and some cool food in a snazzy place, this is the place to be!
Their donuts are amazing! Very cool creations without being over the top. Great coffee. Lots of cool games to play and games to buy. Definitely recommend trying them out!
8 Bit Doughnuts is a neat little shop that has a pretty good selection of games and a bakery/coffee shop attached to it. The doughnuts are good and when it is later in the day you can get a deal on them. When we went there was not as big of a selection, but we did get a buy one get one. It is a place where you definitely want to come early if you care about a bigger selection, but if not, then it is a good place to come and chill during the evening.
