Cotton & Rye

One of the best meals that I had in Savannah! Although it was the furthest out from where I was staying, Cotton & Rye was worth it. I wasn’t too hungry so we did appetizers. Shrimp & Grits starter- 10/10 Absolutely delicious! They baked it like a Mac and cheese and the flavors were delicious. Make sure you order it. Award Winning Chicken Wings - 10/10! The wings were crispy and flavorful! They were not too spicy but they had a great balance between sweet and savory. This is a must try! Buttermilk Cornbread - 9/10. The honey butter was delicious and the cornbread was warm and had good texture and flavor. All the portions were good! I left full. It was busy on a Saturday evening so we sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations. We still got pretty quick service and got to see the bartender in action!

Asia was amazing handling our larger group of 9. She was knowledgeable of their menu and made great recommendations. The chicken wings are definitely award-winning. I enjoyed the fried catfish as my main course and Asia talked many of us into dessert. If you are in the area, I recommend joining Asia for a great experience.

Lovely experience. I was in Savannah for a few days and heard many great things about this place. The rigatoni was great definitely under seasoned but all the natural flavors from the vegetables complimented each other very well. The wife had steak frites and that was a lovely treat. I recommend this place because of the vibe it presents. I would have order another old fashioned but our server Patrick checked on us a few times. I would come again.

We had the shrimp & grits and the wings. We also enjoyed some sides but the wings and grits were the most noteworthy. The grits were the best I’ve ever had - lots of flavor and perfectly smooth. The wings were creative in flavor and perfect in crunch and tenderness. The atmosphere was clean and distinguished. We’ll definitely be back!

The excellent service, coupled with the delectable skirt steak and heavenly homemade Twix candy bar, made for an evening I won't soon forget.
