This place is busy but it is definitely worthy to wait for your coffee. Aside from the great coffee selection, they also offer a variety of products that one can purchase. Unlike Starbucks, I recommend Peet's because it just feels much better and warmer than your standard coffee shop. Check it out.
Back in the day I would post pictures of Starbucks cups with my name printed in fun and unique ways. Today, I was reminded of those days when I picked up my coffee at the downtown Peet's. This Peet's is sticking it out with some of the most courtesy and understanding staff the world has known. This smiley has made my day. :-)
It was very clean the staff was extremely pleasant n quick to take my order. Still no seating inside but over all I was pleased with the service, n my Vanilla latte was the BOMB!!!? I SHALL HAVE A GREAT SUMMER MORNING IN BEAUTIFUL SANTA CRUZ CA
I got a cup of coffee and a piece of chocolate truffle cookie. Definitely, a perfect pair. The baristas are extra friendly.
I've been going to this Peet's location for over 15 years, and, for the most part, they do a really good job with my coffee bean orders and afternoon cappuccinos. They've recently had a lot of turnover, so there are a lot of newer staff members. I just make sure I tell them exactly how I want my drink, my beans, etc and everything turns out great. And if I don't like the way something comes out, I say so and they are happy to remake it.
They are consistent, offering a large selection of darker roasts, and a few medium and light roasts.
The staff are very talkative and friendly, they make consistently great and delicious drinks, which get brought out quickly. the pastries are delicious and warm. It's quiet and you can get work done here if you wanna.
I loved their espresso flavor; probably one of the best I've had. That and the banana chocolate cake and I'm feeling great! Wife likes the coffee too. Bathroom was clean. Will come back to Peets again! Nice coffee shop.
for corporate coffee, they are good. the coffee is strong and i'm glad they're finally doing a medium roast. i light roast would be good too. i'd like it if they did pour-overs so i could choose the coffee that i want.
