NICE sandwiches!!! you don’t go there for the atmosphere, but it is the same as any other fast food place. The food is very nice though.
Ordered a large hot pastrami and large hot roast beef last night, online and only minutes before closing time. Both sandwiches were "french dip".
I arrived as my order was being prepared. The staff was trying to clean up, as expected, but gentleman making my order was still courteous and responsive. I added extra au jus sauce before leaving.
The sandwiches both had much less meat than those in the large sign behind the counter. They were delicious though when dipped in the sauce. Will order again soon.
The first time I came to this new location, the employees came off as stand-offish, and unwilling to help as many other reviews stated. I was honestly sick of waiting around for the 2 kiosks to open up so I left after 5-10 min.
Today I decided to give them a second chance. Despite being busy, the employees and manager were all smiles and helpful. It felt like a 180 turnaround by the staff and I was there for it. Hope to see this great service continue!
Super swell, best sandwich I've had in a while
I received quick friendly service. I enjoyed my Albacore tuna on soft whole wheat bread with all the fixings. There unsweetened tea tastes like fresh brewed. The restaurant appeared clean and tidy. There was plenty of parking when I was there.
I ordered a large avocado and cheese, with extra cheese. I got a large turkey and avocado, with a regular amount of cheese. They still charged for the extra cheese, and the more expensive sandwich... I'm vegetarian so this is going straight in the garbage. Super disappointed. I live out of state now, but this used to be my favorite sandwich place, and I was really looking forward to this. It's closed for the night, but if they make this up to me tomorrow, I'll delete this review. Ugh!!
Update - went in today, and the manager addressed the issue immediately, and offered a full refund. I've always had great sandwiches and customer service here, just a good lesson to always double check your order!
Togo's is one of those sandwich places that has been around forever. Sometimes their staff can be a little slow at preparing sandwiches, while other times they are lightning fast (depends on the time you get there, I suppose). I have never had a poorly made sandwich and they keep their ingredients fresh and reasonable quality.
Togos has great tasting food. Their staff are really friendly and nice to work with. You can tell they take personal attention to detail when making your sandwiches. Also they have a Coke freestyle machine which is a great option for my family.
I went in last week to pick up a sandwich and used my debit card for payment. The sandwich was tasty but my review is based on the honesty and friendliness of the staff and their manager, Gonzalo Garcia. When I got home, 140 miles or so away and four days later, I realized I did not have my credit card. Trying to backtrack my debit card use I thought it may have been at Togo's. I called four days later and spoke with Gonzalo. He said he had my card in a safe location and was very polite and nice. He offered to mail it to me but my Sis who lives in San Jose picked it up for me. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you Gonzalo. It's people like you that make this world a better place!
The smell ia intoxicating when you walk in the doors. I ordered ahead of time....30 min and it was still being made when I got there mid lunch-rush. I got a vanilla dr pepper, which was disappointing for such an expensive soda to be almost flavorless...I didn't notice until I was in the car, of course. The sandwhiches were made right and tasted like quality! The brownie again, over $2....was stale and just crumbled...but chocolate is chocolate.
