This place definitely has a stand out baguette. Their bahn mi is excellent. Even the small ones are very generous in portion.
The only downside is the service is quite slow. It was a weekday and it took about 20-25 mins wait for three sandwiches.
Glad to stop here for early breakfast on a business trips near San Jose. They have very yummy Bánh mì with excellent tastes of different flavors. Good deals on buy 4 and get 1 free. Variety of other snacks as well.

Already a line outside the door at 11. This place is unique because they offer small and large size bánh mì. We got one small đặc biệt. It’s so cute! The size of my palm. The slices of meat were thick. Bread is made in house and the sauce was on point with creamy salt sweet flavor

The line here is very very long...there was a line even when I arrived at 10;30 am. It moves quickly though. I came here on a recommendation and was highly impressed. I ordered the Pork Belly Sandwich and it was not a let down. The meat was moist, savory and they packed a good amount in the sandwich. I kept the other half to eat for later. They did not skimp on the ingredients. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The vegetables were also fresh.
Great sandwiches every time you go. They normally have a line out the door but they are pretty fast. If you love traditional Vietnamese sandwiches this is a good place to visit.
Fresh baguettes made in store each day. Wide selection of Banh Mi sandwiches, Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee), banh beo, and different take out side dishes. Duc Huong Gio Cha on Story has the best Banh Mi in San Jose, and most of my Viet friends feel the same way. There’s no dine-in option and parking can sometimes get dicey when it is lunch time.
Had to stop by for some banh mi sandwiches from here while we were near San Jose. I read that this place is super popular and there was definitely line out the door and around the corner when we arrived. Everything moved fast though, and the wait was worth it.
This place has some of the best banh mi I’ve tried. They make their bread in house which makes it taste fresher and a bit softer than other shops I’ve tried. The fillings were great with lots of variety. Make sure to check out the buy 4 get 1 free del if you’re looking to purchase a few.
The iced Vietnamese coffee here was also a star and definitely worth it. The flavor really stood out and was super refreshing on a summer day.
Got the #1 BBQ pork & # 2 cold cut special. Definitely good sandwiches, but be prepared for scarce parking, a line to order, and a wait to pick up (at least on a weekend).

This is a take-out only place. We like the sandwiches here especially the grilled pork sandwich (#1). The bread has a crust that is crispy enough but not overly hard. The grilled pork is tasty. Watch out for pepper seeds as sometime they are pretty spicy. There seems to be always a long line. But usually they are pretty efficient. You order and pay at one of the multiple cashiers and then wait outside until they call your order number and you can pick up at the pickup window.
