Probably my third visit, I usually don't use drive thru but today I did. Very quick, and the voice politely offered upgrades and add ons to my meal. But my order was ready almost as soon as I got to the window. Great service!

We came in for my GF to try the new shredded beef tostada salad, and for my usual, the double chicken tostada salad and an avocado chicken taco. I was kind of hesitant to try the beef so I was glad she tried it first 😅. The bite I had was pretty good. The beef was tender and flavored well. I thought it would be spicy, but I guess that's only if you ask for spicy. The double chicken tostada was amazing like always. Crispy tostada shell holding big chunks of flavorful chicken breast with rice+beans, salad leaves, avocado, sour cream, and the creamy cilantro dressing, which is the icing on the cake for me. Kind of weird because I order no pico since I hate cilantro 🤷🏽♂️. The avocado chicken taco was just as I remember it should be with the same big chunks of chicken, avocado, a couple of lettuce leaves, and that creamy, dreamy cilantro dressing again. I love this meal and will continue to order it until El Pollo Loco decides to lose my business by removing these items from the menu. If not, they have a lifetime customer over here.
When El Pollo Loco chicken is at its best the food is delicious. The chicken, rice beans and chicken soup among other items are gluten free.

I haven't been here for a while but I'm so glad I came. Food was so good. Chicken has such a good flavor, love the beans and salad too. Glad I rediscovered this place.
I think their salads are one of the best deals going. Unlike many more upscale restaurants, El Pollo Loco's salads have generous portions of chicken, avacado, corn , cilantro,etc. Add as much free pico de gallo too!
Hispanic people eat here, so you know it is at least decent fast food.
I like this location better than the one on Winchester rd. Staff is friendly, the lady is always cleaning the floor and tables, food is made quickly, and always good.
I went to the Winchester location and while ordering I mentioned the menu changed. She got annoyed and denied. I asked the same question over here and the lady politely answered about the new holiday tamales! Awesome because I love tamales. (The lady that always clean the floor is very nice and hard working)
The Camden San Jose location has been very good recently. The chicken is delicious and cooked very well, and the price Is right too. My only criticism is I wish corporate would stop using so much cabbage. A lot of people don't like it.
