New pizza shop right down in the heart of the South First Street club area. The owner, Dave, Has perfected his pizza making skills by even traveling to Italy to immerse himself in the cooking art. I've got to admit his pizza margarita is great. Light and delicate. A wonderful balance between the cheese, tomato sauce and basil.

This is a hidden gem that not so many people know of. It’s hard to find the pizza with the proper doughy texture, right consistency, not greasy but full of flavor. After my visit to Italy, it was very difficult to find a pizza place like that here in the Bay Area. However, I’m so happy to finally found this place. I wouldn’t eat pizza anywhere else. This is a grilled clams with lemon oil. Interesting right? You HAVE to try it.
Pizza is fairly good but not my favorite (the sauce is too sweet for my taste).
The trade-off quality/price is not favorable, they charge restaurant price when it is a self-service place.
I definitely come because the location is highly convenient, close to live music places.
Pizza was not the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. But it was not bad. Sauce was decently tasty of not the most tastiest. It's inside a market area, so seating is plenty.
A nice establishment with good service and very good pizza made with fresh ingredients and fired up in their distinctive red pizza oven in the SoFA Market. A lot of the vendors in the other food stalls have recommended this place, not only for the value, but the service and excellent taste that Pizzetta 408 brings to their customers.
You won't find a more delicious pizza. Always fresh ingredients and prepared to perfection. I prefer the traditional Italian pizzas but you can't go wrong here. The glorious Prosciutto and Arugula is, as they say, to die for. Open for take out orders only during the Covid-19 pandemic.
My absolute favorite pizza place in San Jose 💕 I just moved out of town and miss it dearly. I can’t wait to come eat here again when visiting town The weekday lunch special is unbeatable! (Half salad/ half pizza - it’s the perfect amount of food!). The owners are the kindest people you’ll ever meet too!
Good pizza. It's in a really nice upscale food court where you can choose from several options. So while the wife and daughter went for healthier options full of fiber, arugala and what-not, I was able to get a nice half-pizza and a salad for a reasonable cost. We all gathered our meals and enjoyed sitting outside in a nice outdoor seating area. I'll definitly go back whenever visiting my daughter and explore other options, but will definitely repeat the pizza.
La pizza più deliziosa di tutte!!!!! It's hard to be Italian and live so far from home..Dave's pizza always makes me feel as I never left Italy!!! Big must if you are in town and want a good quick bite.
This is a great pizza. Excellent sauce and cheese, and I love the thin, soft, foldable crust. It's not as good as Giorgio's though.
Thin crust pizza made with quality ingredients. The unusual red Italian pizza oven is a real standout in the SOFA market downtown. The prosciutto on any of their pizza is a standout.
