Found this food market place (called SoFa Market) where you can choose from a variety of little food stands from Indian, sushi, Vietnamese, Colombian and others. Chose the Vietnamese option and ordered the good tasting rice noodle bowl with chicken and egg rolls. They have a large screen on the side where you can order and pay with a credit card.
Great food! I ate here 3 times in 2 days. The first time they were out of Bahn Mi so I got a bowl with spicy beef. It was so good I ordered a second bowl to go for dinner. The next day I came back for the sandwich they were sold out of the day prior. I got the pork and it was amazing. Staff wasn’t the friendliest but honestly keep making delicious food and I can over look the lack of friendliness
I enjoy Banh Mi Vietnamese Chicken sandwiches. I love Pho Soup too.
However, on a warm day, I was craving a heart crunchy chicken Banh Mi.
Sandwhich is healthy with veggies, semi sweet chicken with special spices adding Jalapenos and the special sauce washed down with Diet Soda.
Very well done.
Vietnoms is located in a shared space with about eight other food and beverage options. We got there before open but they were very accommodating to serve me because they already had some items ready. I had the pork bun (vermecelli) dish and it was terrific! They have water available to you for free refills which I really liked. It's handicapped accessible.

So my Boss sent me a local article for this spot and I was like; “Why has it taken this long for the word to be out?” (7 months) . Usually, Vietnamese community in SJ has the best way to spread news of the newest eatery...I think I know why it hasn’t spread smooth like melted butter. Location. SoFMarket... a newly indoor food eatery with stalls ana booths of food vendors. Similar to San Pedro Square. I’ve been living in NY the past year so it’s comparable to the Chelsea Market but on a much smaller scale.
Concept is great. The Chipotle method to Vietnamee Salads, Vermicelli, and / or Rice Bowls. Choose your protein and all the fresh vegetable fixins’. I tell my Asian friends all the time that Vietnamese food is he healthiest of all Asian cuisine. The abundance of styles in food and all fresh veggies and preparation. What was most legit is that I saw the Maggie Seasoning Sauce as a condiment. And it was stamped as the authentic Europe version. Maggie made in a China sucks. Fish sauce aka nuoc mam is legit. They didn’t water it down to accommodate the non-Asians who get scared of that stuff. A whole bottle of shaken fried garlic and shallots to top off, the best! It was bound to happen.

Vietnoms is located on the side aisle of the SoFA Market, which is a cute little food hall with plenty of seating for groups (and a bar in the back!).
I ordered the vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken and lemongrass pork. The bowl comes with plenty of refreshing greens, pickled radish and carrot, and egg rolls. The meat had excellent flavor - great smokiness from the grill, and tanginess from good marination. The egg rolls were okay - a little stale, and possibly not as well fried as some other egg rolls I’ve had in the area.
All in all it was a solid bowl, but I think it falls just short of the most OG places around San Jose, which is an admittedly high bar.
Fantastic food. It was very fresh and tasty. Great ambiance and the name is brilliant. Totally worth braving a mall (blech) to grab a bite.
I had the salad bowl. What great flavors! Like having a vermicelli bowl without the noodles. I could eat that every day. Great for today because it’s so hot. This restaurant is inside a rather hidden food court. I walked right by it the first time. It’s also quite warm in here so having a salad helped. I’ll definitely be back to this place whoever I’m at the San Jose convention center.

Soooo good. The salad feels very light and very flavorful. I was caught off guard and am so glad I tried it. Check out the garlic chicken that's flavored with lemongrass! Very Vietnamese flavor but in a california healthy twist 🔥🔥🔥
