A bit pricey but best sushi in the area
We love that Sushi Masa has a happy hour menu now! We’ve tried all of the rolls and our favorites are the spicy yellowtail, the double crunchy and the tempura shrimp. The spring roll and edamame are also favorites as well.
Lily has been our server/bartender for several of our visits and she is the best!
The restaurant has an all you can eat lunch or dinner special, but this happy hour menu provides us with just the right amount of food.
Love this place. I've been going here for years now since i first found it. Staff is great, friendly, and attentive. Great selection of appetizers, rolls, and main dishes. The portions are larger now!
Delicious food! Very friendly staff, but probably understaffed but when I was there, service was good. 😊👍🏻 Will definitely be back. Cute little restaurant with interesting decor.
Definitely one of my top 5 Japanese restaurants in San Jose! After being stationed in Japan for two years I miss and crave the authenticity of Japanese culture & Sushi Masa definitely delivers. The food is delicious, a great sake variety, the staff is all very kind and warm and friendly! You get greeted as soon as you walk in by all the staff and thanked the same way before leaving which is something else I miss from the country. The decor makes me feel like I'm back at my local restaurant in town in Okinawa. Faith was an excellent server! We will be back soon!
Food was delicious and all the servers were very friendly. We loved the poki nachos, fresh sushi and rolls. We can't wait to go back!
definitely one of those hole in the wall places, inside vibes are awesome w the Japanese style architecture. Staff were super friendly and food immaculate :)
Sushi Masa is our local sushi spot and we go there almost every month. Sunny and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming and the food is always perfection. Try the Okonomiyaki, you won’t regret the wait!
My favorite restaurant of all time! Awesome decor, always incredibly fresh cuts of beautiful fish, and the most lovely staff of all time. Love you Sunny!!!
I was blown away by the flavors and quality of the food I received. My lunch special didn't feel slapped together or rushed. I really enjoyed my meal and my hot green tea. I will return again! The heart shaped rice was a unexpected surprise that made me smile.
