Excellent food! My husband and I got the sexy dragon roll (it was date night) and the spicy tonkatsu ramen with gyoza, and finished up with the green tea cheesecake. The food was fast, fresh, and most importantly delicious with impeccable service. We visit California regularly and have already planned to come back next time and try another iteration of ramen and sushi!
One of the best sushi places I’ve been to in east San Jose. Fish was all fresh, flavors of the Yukima nigiri were very interesting and the grilled salmon was so tender!
Cute little place with great Japanese food and sushi. Haven't ordered anything there that hasn't been good. And it's usually pretty quiet in the evenings which is nice.
This place is delicious. Our host, Ann, speaks vietnamese and was very friendly. Taiwanese gentleman owns this joint and has fresh fish in his fridge, not in the display case. We had to order another bowl of ramen because it was so good!

We recently discovered Niji, and it was near our house. Niji is also one of a few sushi places that is open on Sunday. To our surprise, the ramen was very good. The sushi is well done and the fish fresh. My son, a sushi lover, praises the rice they used for sushi. We like the service also. We're greeted when we entered, and greeted when we leave. The online ordering is also easy if you need to order online.
First time eating @ Niji Sushi & Ramen and we had a great experience.
The menu is extensive so it took us awhile to navigate through the menu. There's no pictures so unless you speak Japanese or are familiar with the names of the food, it'll be difficult for you to order.
After 10 mins or so, our kids ordered the chicken teriyaki -1 item plate. Its served with salad, miso soup and 🍚.
My wife and I ordered the dragon roll and the unagi deluxe. We're big fans of unagi so we asked which has the most amount of unagi. Also, we tried the stir fried udon noodles with chicken, which is different.
Everything was fresh and delicious. Our teens said it was "lit" I guess that means they enjoyed it. Lol
This place was almost full and we arrived 30 mins after they opened! We took the last table. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Really tasty ramen, proper alkaline noodles. Desserts were blah, but the service was excellent. Decor was nice. Definitely would eat there again.

The sushi is very fresh and delicious. I've also tried the Tonkatsu Ramen. It's very good. My daughter especially likes the seaweed salad. The chef always spoils her when we come in by adding more salad to her order. Makes her feel so special!
Please come and try this place out. It's a great find! They just opened a couple of months ago. You won't be disappointed.
This place gets a 4 Star for the Sushi and a solid 0 star for the Ramen. As what my name says, I'm a Ramen Girl and I've had Ramen all over San Jose! By far, they have the worse Ramen. Stay away from their Miso. BUT with that said, the sushi and sashimi I got was very very fresh! Stay away from the Ramen and get anything SALMON!!!
