The best place to have real Persian food. Their food taste great and their service is the best and worth to pay. I’ve been recommending this place to all my friend and family and I’ll keep recommending this place. Very nice and polite ladies working there makes you feel like you are home.

Everything was absolutely delicious, expect for the carbonated milk. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good. I just came around to liking carbonated water within the past few years. I'm not saying it's impossible for me to ever like carbonated milk, it's just going to take some time. I'm also unsure if it's something I want to work towards liking. It'd be so much better for me to like eggplant or myself instead. Maybe once I figure out how to like those things, I can shift my attention towards liking carbonated milk. Anyway, would definitely come back here again!
Yas Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was treated to an incredible dining experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is top-notch, and the food is simply outstanding. I can't say enough good things about their menu; each dish I tried was bursting with flavor and made with the finest ingredients. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our visit was memorable. I'll definitely be returning to Yas Restaurant for more delightful moments and delicious meals. Highly recommended!

This is my first time at this location, and it won't be my last. I have craved Persian food for a while and am so glad I chose this place. The service is excellent, from the welcome to the menu description/recommendations and the FOOD! Still think about it: tasty, not heavy, very enjoyable.
For lunch, I had:
- Kashk -o- Bademjan (cooked pureed eggplant, topped with kashk, sauteed mint, and fried onions)
- Ground beef Kabob
- Lamb (Barreh) Kabob
- Jewel Polo
I have been going to this restaurant for so many years. The food is always fresh, delicious and consistent. The service is great. Last week we had a party of 19 adults and 5 children. Shiva and the other wait staff went out of their way to make our gathering memorable. I highly recommend it. We ordered all sorts of dishes, but my favorite is the juicy koobida and the Kishk badenjan,
We like to come here for Persian food. My kids like the rice and ground chicken and ground beef (Koobideh) rice plate here. We also like their complimentary - flat bread butter. We sometimes call different appetizers to eat with the flat bread. Today we call - #3 Mirza Ghasemi - which is puree grill eggplant, tomatoes and eggs ($14.95). And for the rice plate my husband called #18 Ground Beef ($22.95 )and 2 x # 27 - Yas Special ($28.50). And 1 extra rice. We did a family style meal for 2 adults and 3 kids. We were all full. The food were so Yummy. And the service was good.
In general, It's a bit pricey but the food is quality. Appetizers about $10-15. Rice plates with kabobs $23-30. But their rice plate is big portion, 2 kids can share. So the bill for what we order there and 2 rice plate togo for the parents. The total come out ~$180 with tips.
Went there the first time on Saturday for lunch. We were the only customers who were dining there. I noticed that they had many takeouts on the table, waiting to be picked up. It was a good sign. Had their Kabob for two. It was so delicious. One of the best Persian restaurants in the Bay Area.
I gave 4 stars because the service was ok. Needs to be improved.
Delicious, authentic food with great prices. Always loved coming here, they are total life safers to help us cater. Persian family says it's just like eating in Iran 👍
I have been going to this place for 15 years plus and the food remains the same however the price has changed quite a bit! We always order the YAS special - chicken and beef kabobs - can’t go wrong with this dish since you are getting chicken and beef for $28.50! Service is always great and I love seeing the same people there all these years! It’s our spot whenever we have a reunion! Give it a try if you are on the area!
Authentic Persian cuisine, coming from an Iranian family we know what the best authentic Persian food supposed to taste like. Yas is as close as can be to perfect. We truly appreciate the hospitality we received. There were five people in our party and we all were pleasantly surprised! Recommended if you are looking for authentic Persian cuisine and the Bay area the best we have tried.
