Breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place is AWESOME! My favorite is the two hard shell taco combo plate made with grilled chicken. Excellent seasoning on the chicken. Occasionally, I will pick up breakfast burritos on the weekend and bring them home. It beats cooking for an hour plus cleanup.
It is REAL authentic Mexican � food. Everyone loves it! Never anywhere to park. Use the other Legendary Cambria original Bascom dounuts parking lot in late afternoon. Don't not sleep on the nachos. They are � awesome �
Oh my goodness, if the menubsays spicy, believe it!! I had the steak Ranchero, and darn, it caused me to have sweat rolling down face.
Incredible wholesome food. Clean environment with a well taken care of bathroom. If you’re looking for big potions with legitimate Mexican food—this is the place.
Been visiting Dona Maria for a few years. It is not the best Tex-Mex around but is better than 80% of the Mexican restaurants in the area. I would recommend the Chili Verde. Spicy but not over the top hot. The rest of the menu is good to very good.
Portions are on the large side. Prices are in line with the area. I have noticed that pricing for all restaurants are rising and Dona Maria is no exception.
Service is spotty. Sometimes it is fantastic and others, down right terrible. I guess that the spotty service is why it is not a 5star.
Another visit on 5/7/22. They have remodeled the interior. It is now bright and shiny. The food is still very good. Prices have risen to the new normal of the South Bay Area.
A long way from home, A good taqueria on my mind. Fortunately Google showed me Dona Maria, and I was right down the street. Great menu, plenty of delicious options. The friendly prompt service was appreciated. I was served 3 different salsas, one with the chips, and red and green salsa in squirt bottles(love that). The burrito was very good, the salsas made it even better. The hard work of the proprietor shows: great menu, delicious food, clean and pleasant atmosphere,clean working restroom (love that too). In future whenever we are anywhere close, we will be coming back to Dona Maria.
Really good food in an unassuming strip of small stores. Had breakfast chiliques with chicken and eggs. Chips were great with the sauce. It’s really big tho, could feed 2 people. Husband had the enchiladas and a chicken taco. Before I looked up it was all gone. He loved it. A lot of people calling in and picking up for to go. Coming back ASAP.
The food is delicious! They are always busy, do I forgive them the slow service. My favorite Mexican food in the area. Much as gracias Dona Maria! Well done!

This store is amazing. Come here all the time for basically everything on the menu. They catered a birthday and the Al Pastor was delicioso.
Dona Maria is just an awesome neighborhood restaurant. We have come there for years and have never been disappointed in any food or service! Really cool to have such a place in the neighborhood!!
