This establishment has been around for a long time and I haven’t been here for years but happened to be in the area during lunch time.
Ordered the Capellini Pomodoro with Shrimp and the Caprese Salad. Always eat the bread with garlic whipped butter. It’s warm, crunchy and the butter is all guilt and all good. I’m not sure how authentic the pasta is but it’s delicious, especially with a spoonful of crushed red peppers (don’t judge me). It’s simple and refreshing and my pasta was thin but still al dente. Feels homely. The Caprese Salad is simple but exactly what I expected. It’s kind of hard to go wrong with a slice of mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil and some roasted garlic. Presentation could’ve been a little better but I’ll let you judge from the pictures.
The only dings come from the dated atmosphere that’s in need of a makeover and the slow service. I wasn’t the only one sitting around waiting for some help.
I think if the restaurant was to iron out a few kinks, it can become a destination but maybe the locals like it this way. I don’t know.
I didn’t order the sausage bread this time around but I highly recommend it.
Best Pizza in the San Jose / South Bay Area!! The must have is the spumoni gelato. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing. Their home made sausage is crazy good! The crust on their pizza is thin but not too thin in the middle and thick light and crusty on the outer rim. Oh soooo good 🤤 the ravioli was also great. Sangria was good too. Definitely going back to try the gnocchi. Kids meals shown below 👇 they enjoyed their meals as well.
Food was very good. Portions were adequate. Presentation good.
The place was very busy. I believe that there wasn't sufficient wait staff to accommodate the number of patrons. However I will give the kitchen kudos for the speed and attention to quality of the dishes.

What a staple of San Jose dining. I have not been here in a long time. It is great to see and taste things have not changed. The food and service were so good.
I love eating out on the patio. We had the caprese appetizer as well as the calamari. Both were great! I love their salmon risotto entree. The servings are generous so there's usually some left to take home. The service is excellent.
It was a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon and it was fully booked as far as outdoor seating was concerned and the wait time was almost two hours but luckily we got seating inside. The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful and patient especially since two of our party could join after quite some delay and took more time ordering. The serving size was also quite good and although we ordered just four main dishes for 4 adults we could finish just about half. We loved the crispy zucchini starter which was shared by the vegetarian and the non vegetarian people in the group. The chicken parmigiana was also great. Soft and juicy with the right amount of crispiness. Tiramisu was good but I didn't enjoy the bread they served in the beginning. All in all a great dining out experience.
Best Italian food in the south bay! I enjoy ordering the fettuccine pesto with chicken and it's delicious. Don't forget to order the Italian cream soda. They will run out on popular flavors.
This is a place I've been to before, but it's still so good. The parking lot is shared, so just look around it will be worth it.
We arrived at 6pm, did not get a table till about 715. The place was pac full of peoples. The service is greats soon we seat down. All the server’s is very nice, quick, food come out on times. Very good Italian food, my wife love the salad. Highly recommend this little germ in Willow Glen area
Wow! Amazing service, amazing food, & amazing restaurant environment! The fresh baked bread & butter was delicious. We ordered a lasagna, chicken & prawns limone, minestrone soup, and many other foods that give you that fresh homemade feeling. Absolutely great prices and delicious food. I cannot wait to go back!
