Oh boy, do I love this place! I've probably been to at least 15 concert venues in SF, but this one is my favorite. It is definitely small and that's what I like about it; there isn't a bad view in the house. I prefer to get a spot along the left-side wall because there's a little ledge to put your drink on. There's also a nice little outdoor area behind the stage if you need to escape the crowd for a minute.
In addition to being a great concert setting, they also have some pretty delicious food. I finally tried the Bottom Burger last night and it was awesome. They also have a chicken teriyaki sandwich, quesadillas, hot dogs, etc.
I definitely recommend this place to enjoy a nice small show and eat some tasty food.
The atmosphere at Bottom of the Hill is great. Food is delicious & mixed drinks are made well. It is a tad bit pricey unless you stick to beer. The process to get in the door is pretty quick as long as you have your ID. They are efficient here & even had the place decorated for Halloween. As for the show, DJ Redbees was pretty cool, Bonez was such a badass ladies band with killer electric guitar skills, and Highly Suspect was....well..... AMAZING!!!! The encore, even more phenomenal! Absolutely loved everything about this place & the show.
