Was waiting on an operation for my mom and wanted some good food. I went here because it was nearby and looked good and it did not disappoint. I went and got the Expresso burrito with Carñitas and a Jarrito Mandarin, and it was delicious. The wait was very short, and there was good seating. The utensials were easy to find, and they had a pitcher with cups so that you could serve yourself water. After finishing up my scrumptious meal, I was still a little hungry and ordered a slice of flan. It was also very delicious. With a stuffed stomach, I can say i enjoyed my meal very much and for only $23. What a deal! I did get some tortilla chips but didn't try them.
Note: they do check COVID vaccination if you want to dine indoors.
This Mexican restaurant was bustling with a ton of people lining up to order (including us). Everything is med fresh and delicious, from their tortillas to their chips and salsa.
The mango pork taco had sweet chunks of mango, a generous serving of tender pork, and a sprinkling of fresh cojita cheese. The gigante taco was filled with flavorful, charred carne asada, strips of roasted sweet potato, and beans. This was also an amazing taco. Those super fresh flour and corn tortillas are good enough to eat on their own!
The tortilla chips were crunch and homemade
While the tacos may seem expensive, remember this is San Francisco, and honestly for the portion it is incredibly worth it!
El Burrito Express is so good I an pretty sure it is half my caloric intake at this point. I eat here all the time. I recommend, uh, everything. You can't go wrong.
It was good and the service was quick. They delivered our order very quickly even during the time of day when a lot of people were either eating in or taking out.
Bean and cheese and rice burrito was great for my daughter and the breakfast quesadilla was delicious especially with a little bit of the salsa they provide on top.
Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area and hungry.
I always get the larger size bronco burrito, Carne Asada. The meat seasoning is so delicious, and it's basically two or three meals. Excellent
I love EBX2. Their burritos and taco salad always hit the spot. When I have a craving for a burrito, I’m so grateful EBX is nearby. They have never let my household down. Eat here.
We stopped in to grab some Mexican food before heading out for the night. I ended up grabbing the El Expresso burrito with carne asada meat. The rojo sauce, enchilada sauce, was really good. I could've used that as a dipping sauce.
The red and green sauces that come with the free chips were OK. The red was a bit hot, but there salsa Verde was on point. You only get a small baggie of chips so be warned.
I did witness the girl using her bare hands to refill the chips and do she other questionable things even while but having her mask pulled all the way up. Regardless, the food was yummy.
My wife got enchiladas, but she hates enchiladas unless they come with white cheese and these came with yellow on top. She liked the rice though!
All in all it was a good little spot.
Best burrito I've found in SF. Huge portions for the price.
My recommendation: El Expresso burrito w/ chicken and sour cream.
My favorite single item: the refried beans
This photo looks messy, but the messier the better, right?
Asada is really great quality. I recommend the el bronco burrito
I go here once or sometimes twice a week. Friendly staff and great burritos
