A great little place - very welcoming and filled with love and sweet people! An intimate place for live music too!
What a fun neighborhood!
I'm not going to sugar coat this, but will keep it PG. Pinhole is what BH was lacking so badly a decade ago when wife and I left Leese street.
The staff is knowledgeable and relaxed without being snobby or hipsterish, the coffee selection is chosen with care and unique, and it's the only shop in SF where I welcome any and all conversation from the patrons & "locals", none of whom bite. Well worth a walk up the hill, and right next to Avedanos!
Cute coffee, owned with pride. Cream cheese and everything seasoned croissant good, not too heavy. The picolo was good, it was a pretty dark roast though, personally prefer more fruity notes
Some great baked goods and delicious coffee. Great outdoor space. What more can you ask for?
we went on a recent weekend trip to san francisco and this had to have been my girlfriends favorite coffee shop and best coffee we had. sadly, this was our last visit and weren't here long because it was our first stop on our way back home. don't let that deter you from visiting because i could tell she was really savoring every sip. i don't remember what flavor she ordered but it was a hot instead of our normal iced options we go for. i liked the location itself because it looks like it's hidden in the community where across the street you literally have people's houses instead of other coffee shops that are in shopping centers.
Great place with delicious coffee and a super cute and warm ambiance! Baristas are welcoming and know what they're doing with their latte! Try their special Shortstack drink, it's so unique (custom recipe by them) and tasty!!
Visited upon the recommendation of a family member and found it a gem of a coffeeshop. On top of the excellent sourcing/brewing of the coffee and the quite flavorful pastry, what really got me was the high level of service. For example, on top of the normal pleasantries I was given a time expectation for my pour-over and a small cup of drip to ease the wait. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in the city.
Really comfortable coffee shop with great espresso drinks and nice social setting. Ambience is perfect to meetup with someone for coffee. Not really a working place.
I arrived in the morning around 8:30am and oddly there was a line to get in. The wait was about 10 minutes I would say. I ordered a latte with oat milk because like most coffee shops in SF, they did not have soy milk. I liked it!
We had chai lattes with almond milk. They were super tasty. The staff was super cool and laid back. The coffee table and seats were amazing. Awesome place. Keep up the great work. I’m my top 3 as far as chai’s go. (Add cinnamon it’s perfect)
Coffee smells great! Eating a ginger muffin in a cozy space will make you happy.
Phenomenal multi-roaster shop in all measures. Neighborhood charm with a modern but cozy and interesting aesthetic (ie, feels good to hang out - the local neighbors are!), great selection of top local coffee, and maybe most importantly staffers who are nice and have the skill and knowledge to prepare their product. They get the most of the beans, which I appreciate hugely!
