Nice and small place with great coffee. Tried the iced and hot version of the ginger oat-milk latte. The coffee is smooth, the people are friendly.
Line starts outside and only a few are allowed in at a time. Parking is your typical San Fran nightmare, if there is more than one of you I’d say have them order while you stay with the car.
They ask you don’t stay inside but there is an outdoor area available.
Limited options on pastries from what I could see but overall the minimalist approach seems to work, their coffee is great and they rated well for a reason.
I came across this nice find while walking down Washington Street near Chinatown. Great espresso- very smooth yet robust. I recommend the signature cocoa cappuccino. A limited but quality range of pastries. Well priced compared to some other coffee offerings in San Francisco
Amazing coffee and the baristas were very friendly and had great suggestions. It can get busy and sometimes there is a line but it moves pretty fast. Amazing shop!
Omg if you are coffee lover, MUST visit this cafe!!! I'm coffee lover ;) and this cafe has amazing friendly service, products, atmosphere and coffee & food! I tried first time almond croissant with berry jam filling? Omg amazing delicious!! When I'm here in San Francisco I know where to get coffee now and very close where I stay :) yay thank you so much, can't wait for next visit ... might get another one before leave 😉
The flat white I got was great. Surprised by the low price. I appreciated it dearly. I had a pleasant conversation with the barista.
I was very surprised that there was only one barista working. Even more surprised how quick and efficient he was. I will gladly come back.
I had a great experience while the coffee shop was busy. And I hope I do not have the same experience as people who left 1 star reviews. (I can totally picture what they’re talking about)
I had the hot chai latte with alternative (oat) milk. It was okay. The chai tea was not very strong. Maybe it was the oat milk that diluted the flavor?
The coffee here must be the draw.
The shop is cosy but they don’t allow in store dining. Luckily a patio is set up on Washington Street right by the cable car tracks. A unique ambiance with a bench, a stool and a standup wooden counter wall. Nice outside!
Self declared extremely fussy coffee drinker here: this place is great, superb coffee / espresso.
It’s a small cafe with street area small parklet. Worth a detour to visit if you like your coffee perfect .
It's probably my favorite coffee in SF from the ones I have tried across 4 days. Staff is very and friendly. Simple, but nice seating outside.
Focused, artisanal and friendly. Small shop for that quick but perfect espresso drink. Watch the streetcars go by as you sip that syrup.
Something of a coffee mecca, was extremely impressed with the quality and taste of the brewed coffee and espresso I received. Would highly recommend to any third wave coffee enthusiast and/or weird coffee person™. Minimal seating (plan on consuming your beverages outside) and the staff seemed a bit stiff (for reference, my visits were in April/May 2022) - but they do what they do very well. Don't be surprised by a line out the door.
