In general this is a pretty good grocery store. Layout is easy to follow. Pretty clean. Not smelly like the Marina Safeway. They need to improve the flow of traffic as shoppers and carts are departing the checkout area because it runs right into the dessert and coffee ordering area. Parking is the biggest problem. Small parking lot with people often not following the directional signals.
Clean and fully stocked, lots of plant based options. I got a sandwich at the counter that was both fast and well prepared. Can get a little crowded, but there are several self checkout lanes. Picnic tables outside if you want to eat or wait for someone with your dog. Close to golden gate park too, which is nice.
Delicious soup, hot bar, but expensive for a market; for that price you can eat at an Italian pizzeria. P.S Yesterday at a pizzeria we paid $52 for two soups, a medium pizza, lasagna.
Small parking lot. This is a older store, but it carries all the standard Whole Foods groceries.
Every time I have gone to Whole foods, i received excellent service and the choices for foods, veggies and more. My recently visit I found cinnamon pinecones so good. I did notice one of the staff. I believe his name is Steve. He was so kind helping a few of the customers. Super friendly and helpful. Thank you!
You can still smell the Mac Donald's that used to be across the street. After getting some good vinyl over at Ameoba I would have to recommend getting some munchies and coffee here at Whole foods. It's kinda a trip seeing how this place has changed over the years but the people who work here are really cool and helpful. Kinda out of my price range but I will say that the quality and variety is top notch and of course the people really make this place worth every penny. (Sorry these are the only pictures I have of this end of Haight St.)
Really nice staff here. Unfortunately, they have fallen to the culture of self checkouts, which I hate. On the good side, we didn't wait long for a helpful human. Lovely produce and good wines.
Staff are very kind. I had forgotten my wallet and was unable to pay for the breakfast I was picking up. Amrita (cashier) personally bought me one of the REBBL smoothies I had picked out (this meant I was able to eat when I otherwise would not have been able to for a awhile)
I promise to pay this kindness forward. She made my day.
Dear whole foods manager, please give her a raise, cupcakes, and PTO.
I stopped by here to return an Amazon purchase, the first time I had done that. It was a very smooth and painless process. As you enter the market, take a sharp right to find the customer service counter.
Whole foods has always been one store I've appreciated. This is no different from the rest. Don't forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!
