the atmosphere is intimate, the service is amazing and the menu is fresh and unique. A local favorite of mine, I love coming to visit!
The food was excellent and surprisingly filling. My only complaint is that the tables are packed in very close to each other, but that's just SF.
great Latin American fusion. Poquito has some Ecuadorian dishes that are great ! I recommend it as Ecuadorian! Desserts are so good too.
This place is amazing. The decor is warm and so are the people. I went in on a slow rainy night so, I got some extra attention. I was greeted at the door by the originator/owner of the restaurant and then walked through the menu(Made up of his recipes), and given personal recommendations. I tried several different items, including one of the best empanadas I've ever had. The recipes were authentic and delicious. The BOOZE! Don't forget about that! Delicious Sangria and amazing custom cocktails. DO NOT miss out on this gem! Great prices too!
We like Poquito so much we had my wife's 50th birthday there. Great food, and they treat you like family (in a good way) when you are there.
The food is not Mexican food. It is a fusion of Equitorian and Spanish food, reflecting the heritage of Richard, one of the owners. It's unique, at least for me, and delicious.
As mentioned in other reviews, the bar is also amazing.
Ordered quite a few things off the menu, including a few samplers from the daily 4-7 Happy Hour menu. Everything was good, but the standouts were the white bean empanadas, the chorizo sliders, and the wonderfully fresh, crisp pork tacos. Love the thinly sliced jicama as a taco shell!
Great little dogpatch gem. Good tapas and great drinks.
food: B
service: A
ambiance: B
favorite dishes: jicama wrapper snapper and pork noche are to die for. Any of their unique drinks are pretty awesome.
I ordered the soyrizo sliders and the Chulpi. The chulpi (Ecuadorian corn tostado) was a great start for me as I was craving something salty and crunchy. The soyrizo sliders were good, but it was even better with the salsa rona.
The only problem I had was that it can get very noisy. But if you're up for a lively atmosphere and delicious tapas, then this is the place to go.
This place has very good tapas and some really good Ecuadorian dishes. Their Fritada is to die for. Wide variety of Tequilas and great pisco sours.
Amazing food!!! Fantastic drinks and helpful staff. Totally worth the hike to the Dogpatch, come by for a margarita and delicious Ecuadorian food!
Food is fresh unique and a great deal . You can't beat the cocktails. Service is outstanding.
Amazing food! Chorizo sliders are awesome as well as their empanadas and tacos!
