This is definitely a good place to eat some very authentic tortas Mexican style.
The ladies who work here are very attentive and I didn’t feel zero negativity from them which means he’s a good spot for people like me to come here and have a good time while I eat, I definitely recommend this place. Extremely tasty 🤤 😋
The staff are kind and the prices are very good for the food they serve. The food was amazing and for some, a one person portion could cover a day worth of food. The interior looks a little poor and old, but for the most part, a restaurant with great food and staff.
Good torteria in the Mission. The tortas were good. We tried chicken and carne asada torta. They were both good. The bread is good! We felt that the chicken could’ve used some more flavor. The tortas are easily shareable, or not 😋The orange juice is freshly squeezed in front. I noticed they are known for their torta cubana and smoothies. Will come back some day to try out.

The restaurant is small, so I would recommend taking the tortas and making a little park stop to enjoy them. They do have indoor seating but small.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, the torta milanesa de pollo or the cubano are the best tortas I’ve had anywhere I’ve been in the world. Hands down the best I recomend anyone to try it out at least once. Oh and ask for a shake as well they make the best drinks.
The food is amazing, the staff is warm and inviting, it small so it can fill up quickly. Be prepared to rub elbows if you are dining in.
Legit has to be one of the best torta spots in SF. I usually get the milanesa res or de pollo with queso fresco. The torta is super well balanced; it is not stuffed to the brim, it’s not soggy from hella condiments and it’s made with quality ingredients. The “thing” that makes the torta for me is the sauces, both green and red. I usually go a few drops of each on every bite and they just add that extra little something. I also recommend to eat in. The line can be a little long but waiting until you get home is not the move.
Tried it for the first time and got the torta cubana. It was so good definitely a new spot to come back to. We also got an agua de fresa de leche it was BOMB! The employee notice it was our first time there and gave us the water on the house!! The service was amazing, can’t wait to be back and try more of their menu items, definitely try them out!
Fantastic spot for a torta! This place is well staffed and puts a lot of effort into making their food delicious. It's also really easy to order and take your food to go. Highly recommend this spot especially if you're looking for a delicious torta ahogada!
Tortas Los Picudos is one of the few remaining torta shops in the mission. Sure, taquerias have tortas, but they're not the same. The tortas here are lovingly assembled, high in fat, and pressed until the bread has a great level of crisp. The salsa roja is hotter than most, which is important to balance with the mayo and cheese. I suggest milanesa de pollo with queso fresco, but it's really up to you!
Very cute and clean place. When my husband and I got here there was already a line but the wait wasn't too long. I got the torta ahogada and my husband got the torta Carne asada.
I don't like spicy food. I can't even eat hot cheetos. BUT I loved my torta. Perfect spice level and you can still enjoy the flavors of the torta. This restaurant is also next to Precita Eyes which I was happy about. I got to knock out two birds with one stone.
