Wow! I’ve lived in San Francisco for two years and have always been looking for a great sushi spot that sells fresh fish at a reasonable price.
I came here on a Tuesday evening with my two friends, and we got three rolls to share, hand rolls, and their daily special nigiri. Their hand rolls were perfectly done - warm rice and crispy seaweed. The nigiri was tasted like omakase quality.
The price was $20-$40 each including tax and tip.
Everything tasted so good and the service was excellent! The food came out very quickly and we left with smiles on our faces.
5/5 experience, I’m definitely gonna make this a regular in my dinner rotation.
Hidden gem in the area. I heard it get busy for dinner so we came right when they opened on a Saturday, we got seated right away. The staff and the owners were very delightful and generous!
We got the Omakase and the clam dish for starters with two bottles of sake. All the sashimi was fresh and high quality. Yuzu cheesecake and green tea ice cream were good. I enjoyed the intimate vibe here. We had such a great time with our friends.
The sushi was so fresh and the servers were very attentive. The prices were great too for Sf. The only thing I didn’t love was how the nigiri was already seasoned with soy sauce and wasabi which was a little overpowering. Other than that, this place really exceeded my expectations! The miso soup was also very delicious.
12 piece omakase is around $70 we passed on that and got a 5 piece for $20. Hamachi belly was really good. Pass on the rolls, they’re overpriced. Spicy tuna with cucumber roll is unique!
Fresh sushi and wagyu beef. Very light and delicious 😋 bit on the pricy side but worth every penny. I would recommend it to friends and come back again love it.
Delicious! Recommended for me to go me by a local bay area consumer. Tastey fresh fish. Best I've had in a while! Enjoyed my sashimi, maki, and sake selections.
Always delicious and delightful expirience. Wonderful menueof the best fresh and local fish, with the exquisite gourmet finish. Great service too.
This is a 4.5 Star place! The nigiri on their special menu was great. Their hamachi with jalenpeno maki was just ok. And the Salmon handroll was average. Ji Kinmedai (Premium Alfonsino), King Salmon from New Zealand, Kanpachi from Japan and Nodoguro (Black throat Seaperch) were all really good. If you order their rolls the cowboy was pretty good.
Nice place, small in size , but big in flavor and true sushi experience. Really good sushi shouldn't be smothered in sauces, this place understands that concept. The sashmi is really fresh and melts in your mouth, ( as it should ). Don't expect any fried appetizers like gyoza, or ask for unagi sauce.....not that kind of place. But if you want fresh delicious sushi I recommend.
I will definitely return.
The Food was great! The fish was Fresh and the rolls had Real crab in them. They did not have real Wasabi and The rolls could be a bit larger. Quick Friendly service and tasty hot tea.
