Old style San Francisco Cafe busy a lot of the times so be patience great time to talk enjoy life all the breakfast are good and at a great value
Great place for a nice breakfast! First time visiting and felt very welcome around the nice waitresse, who even wrote me a list with sights to go explore. Will be back before I travel home, for sure!
A cute little shop serving dumplings. They also have main course options of noodles and rice. Loved their sesame balls and their vegetarian pot stickers. They have a few vegetarian options so if you have different dietary preferences you can give this a try! They also give you a pot of nice hot tea complimentary at the beginning of your meal!
There are something you need to know if you order the noddles. They seem having 3 noddles to choose:
1. The man made knife cut noddles which is $1 more.
2. The machine made knife cut noddles.
3. The rice noodles
I got confused between 1 and 2 so I ended up eating the wrong noddles.
Dumplings not really great but ok. Braised beef soup noodle was good with right portion. Service was average, nothing special but ok. Overall I would recommend it if you want an easy lunch or dinner.
We got the pork/Napa dumplings (#25) and “Beef stew soup noodle” (#65)
Both were excellent!
Dumplings: filling was flavourful, skin was smooth. These are also made in house!
Noodles: loved the beef - it has the right flavour, and a lot of it! The mushroom also had a lot of flavour. The noodles were also amazing. Texture wise, they were great! I wonder if they’re made in hosue/if I can buy some
Ambience:typical Chinese noodle house. Nostalgic!
Would definitely come back.
Really delicious dumplings with skin that you can tell is handmade. The chicken and mushroom one in particular had a great flavor.
Everything else we had was pretty good, but nothing I'd be craving. I guess it's called Dumpling Park for a reason!
Would come back to try different dumpling varieties either to eat in store, or to go for an easy picnic at Golden Gate Park.
We ordered three different types of regular dumplings and also soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings from the Dim Sum menu. Everything was hot and delicious and came out quickly! We found this place just walking by and I'm so happy we stopped to eat! Definitely recommend.
The service was slow, but the food was great. This is one of my favorite Chinese places. The chow mein, noodle soups, and dumplings are fantastic. This place will be on the itinerary for future SF trips.
Simple but delicious! Love the noodles
Food is ok. Small portion for the price.
The beef roll pan cake & the dumplings are awesome, the pan fired noodles are too oily, great food & service!
