Good dim sum, with lots of selections to choose from. Pot stickers were average, but everything else was awesome. Great service and homey local atmosphere .
Excellent Dim Sum. Never had better, not even in Hong Kong. Not fancy, and they are not shark friendly, but we stuffed two people for $20, and didn't eat any shark fin.
GREAT PLACE. My husband and adult son ate dim sum and EVERUTHING was great. I service was the best I've ever had and they love SF Giants fan, so go after a game. I will eat there again when I'm visiting SF. THANK
Not at all fancy, but delicious dim sum from carts and to order. I also recommend the mango "pudding." My bill was $17 including tax (9.5%!) and tip and I was stuffed!
The dim sum was good. The decor was dated. It feels a bit strange having so much room for only a few tables. Food was ready quickly, but I think we were the only table in the place so your mileage may vary.
Excellent restaurant with large portion and resealable price. Very typical and delicious food. Seafood are well prepared and very clean:)
The dim sum carts weren't actually in service on a recent day, so we had to order from a menu. While not as fun to pick that way, what came out was excellent. Lots of options for every taste.
Dim sum table service from friendly employees makes for a fun group meal. We ate it all except for these two last little morsels.
Stuck in time...80's and it is marvelous!! Fast friendly and have been coming here for the past 18 years. Worth the price and experience. A must to go in SF!
Super happy with all the meals I've had here. Small spot but has always been able to seat 6 or more of us in less than 15 minutes. Food is fresh and fast! Glad we found it and cant wait to have more soup dumplings!
Canton Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant
We showed up with around twenty people right before they closed and ordered more of the menu. So, they understandably weren't to happy. But, they served us anyway. The food was fantastic and served very fast since we were the only people there. I have no doubts that this will be one of the best meals I have in San Francisco. They warmed up when they realized we were a business group and not a group of broke teenagers. Still, I get it.
Solid low-key & mid-price dim sum. In the heart of Soma lies this expectedly average dim sum spot. However, the food is great! (Except for the soup dumplings). 8 dishes for $40, filled the two of us up and we had enough leftovers for a small dinner. Don't expect amazing service, and sometimes you might have to wait a bit to be seated. But if you want solid dim sum, especially take-out, this place is a great option.
Awesome tasty food, I loved it the authentic amount of asian spices in USA.
I've been here before and had not realized it. Around the corner from this place they have a sectioned off area in case you want to pick up food to go or not sit in the bigger part of the restaurant. The food is delicious. I have to say this one more time, the food is delicious. We showed up around six p.m. and got dim sum. All of it was delicious and we did not have to wait too long to get the food. This place is worth checking out.
