Visited for happy hour. Great bar vibe and friendly staff. The food was extremely mid but the nice bartenders made up for it. Tried the nachos and margherita pizza.

A laid back, easy going neighborhood bar. This isn't the place to go to be seen or act flashy. But if you want to have a relaxing talk with friends over a pint, this is the place.
Its beer, wine and a handful of soju cocktails here (no hard alcohol). There's always a great selection of beers on tap to choose from and, as one would expect from SF, the wine list has solid options. Folks also seem to love the sangria.
There are several foods to choose from, but the pizzas are the real winner. Small enough for one person to enjoy and always delicious and simple.
But honestly, you're coming here for the atmosphere and vibe, which is dim and not fussy. Put on your hoodie, grab a seat at the bar and watch the world go by outside the windows or chat with the person next to you.
Fly Bar has been on this corner ... well, I moved to SF in 2004 and it was already established then. This is the place my friends and I always meet up at to catch up. It's homey. It's got a easy fire to it (not artificial feeling injected by design and loud music). This is a place you can still glimpse a little of the old San Francisco heart that is so rapidly changing these days.
Try this place. I bet it'll become a favorite.
Went for an afternoon work session and found it to be a cozy and great place to get some work done. Finished off with a pint of Modelo.
Gem of a neighborhood bar. Great staff and consistently good food especially since the kitchen is open late
Did the Wings this time. Met some new neighbors.Great chicken sandwich and salad. Won sake bomb cocktails while playing bingo..Pool table , big screens, park let, Yup this place rings all the bells
The owner is pouring drinks and that's a great thing. Has a good neighborhood vibe. The bar food and snacks were yummy!
A non-bougie neighborhood bar on Diviz and it's wonderful. Down-to-earth staff. The place people go after they finish working at the fancy restaurants nearby. Decent beer list. Good cocktails. The place is looking better after its recent facelift inside. Reasonable prices, thank god. Trivia, sports, the usual things.
The pizza was very delicious. Didn't get to try the drinks but they had a good selection. The reason I'm docking a star is because you have to order your food with the bartenders..which is dumb and hence why it took so long for my friend and I to order pizza. Why wouldn't I order with someone else? or thru some other means since there were only two bartenders and they were both busy making drinks. And then when they handed us our pizza, we asked for water and the girl completely forgot so my friend had to wait another while to just get that.
But...the pizza was indeed delicious.
Love the pizza here. Solid cocktails. Beer was warm though and service not so great, especially considering it wasn’t busy at all.
Fly drinks and chill vibes. Great neighborhood dive, great for cocktails while I wait!
