I've been to a few Chinese vegetarian restaurants. This is a good one. Good value and good quality. Large menu. We had the fried pumpkin, tan tan noodles and a mix of seitan, tofu, mushroom and vegetables. All very good. Maybe a bit of the sweet side, but not overly so. It's a bit off from the main commercial area, which may help if other restaurants are too busy.
Vegetarian/Vegan Chinese restaurant creating a variety of dishes from chow Mein to tempura to tofu/veggie meat & vegetables. I would describe the dishes here as “pure” yet flavorful. The main flavor focuses on the sauce of the dish rather than multiple ingredients combining together. Each piece of veggie meat, tofu, and vegetable is infused with the dish’s sauce. All the vegetables were tender and the soy-based meats chewy. I really enjoyed the (seitan?) strips in the chow mein and the “chicken” in the kung pao chicken. Only complaints are that each dish was over-peppered (too much black pepper added) and the tea was pretty weak (they used 1 tea bag for the whole pot of water).
We love this place! We went to both locations and had excellent experiences and meals! It’s hard to find a Chinese vegetarian place that makes such delicious food. We enjoyed the orange chicken, combination platter, braised spareribs with daikon radish, veggie duck, and Dan Dan noodles were ALL notable. We’d eat here all the time if we lived here! Also, excellent customer service at both locations! 👌🏼
Pretty good vegetarian food. Service is ok, they didn't have chow mein so they replaced with rice noodle. The deep fried pumpkin was pretty good. The one dishes did not have enough taste.
Popped in for a quick bite...everything is cooked fresh and served piping hot. I had the pumpkin fritters and a vegetable /tofu soup. The soup is packed with crunchy vegetables. If you want a kick..the chilli sauce suffices.

What a cute place! We were visiting this quiet neighborhood and got hungry. We didn't want to face all the potential crowds in downtown SF (or COVID-19). We found this place on Google Maps. I thought it was a weird spot for a veggie restaurant, but gave it a go anyway. So happy we did! The mock beef green beans and twice cooked "pork" were wonderful dishes. We also had the mock chicken nuggets as an appetizer (we're big eaters) and really enjoyed those too. Spicy level could be taken up a notch, but otherwise, it was a really nice, unexpected experience. The gal who served us was super nice and the food came quick and hot. I hope they survive the lock-down, they super-deserve your patronage!
This place is close to where we live but we never tried it because it looks like a bit of a dump from the outside...but the friendly staff and great food make up for it.
We went on Memorial Weekend so it was busier than usual. Waited about 20 minutes or so.
But the food came quick and the food tasted really good especially the chicken chow mein. The General Tso was really good...the only negative is there's more broccoli than the chicken on the plate.
We ordered crispy tofu, broccoli beef, chicken chow mein and General Tso chicken.
Tried this place for the first time and loved it!! Not your typical American Chinese restaurant-- some of these flavours I have not experienced since my time in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. We got to try some unique items-- Vegan Shark Fin Soup, Eggplant with Vegan Sea Bass, and Vegan Braised Spare Ribs with Broccoli. Everything was delicious and actually seemed like excellent quality as well. Everything was cooked and spiced to perfection and the portions were very generous. They have a massive menu so there's something for everyone, even picky eaters! Also all dishes are made without garlic or onion, for those who avoid garlic & onion for spiritual practice. Of course during COVID they aren't during table service, only Take Away but atleast they were kind enough to let us eat our meal at their 1 table available inside. We really appreciated that! Very happy with our experience here and would gladly return.
Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant offers a diverse and satisfying menu of meat-free options that will delight both vegans and non-vegans alike.
This is our 1st choice Chinese vegetarian restaurant in San Fran. Lots of selections and great flavour. Highly recommended. Fair price, kids friendly as well.
