Great sushi, great staff, and great deals! All-you-can-eat option is back! $30 for lunch and $35 for dinner. Not a bad price for being in the middle of SF. Delicious rolls and plenty of options. Plus they have a happy hour. A handful of beer and sake options. I'll be back soon!
Very friendly restaurant, once you get here, immediately you will feel like home. Their sushi was decent, sashimi was fresh and yummy. Sakes are great. Especially you can enjoy Sapporo beer for amazing price with $1 / 1 glass.
Its a great experience to have our late dinner at kyoto. The service was great and the food, i have to say excellent!
After a long day travel, we were tired and had terrible experience with san Francisco airport car rental service and shocked by the horrible downtown environment.
We came to this shop and we feel warmed by their hospitality and great food.
Recommend for everyone if u want to taste great jp style meal.
I had a 30 minute lunch, we originally called for our order to go. We decided to stay. It was a nice setting. The food was good. It's good to take a load off while getting a bite to eat.
This is a Japanese restaurant that has all your typical Japanese dishes. Sushi, yosenabe, ramen, donburi, etc. They started doing an all you can eat option but you don't have to choose that. Service is pretty good. Very reasonable prices. Nothing spectacular but just a convenient reasonable place. There is always no wait for a table. They have a happy hour and late night discounted menu also. I go there every week, as it opens pretty late. It is usually fairly easy to park outside.
Where else can you get 6 Sapporo's for less than 6 bucks!? I really love the happy hour from 9 to close since Kyoto is just across the driveway from my condo its perfect for a late dinner. The 911 roll with a few jalapeños on top is just the right mix of California Roll and spicy tuna. But we can't forget my hometowns roll, the grilled salmon and avocado Seattle roll at 3.95 goes perfect with a $.99 Sapporo for a bedtime snack under 5 bucks ;)
Went here for the first time with some friends and I was blown away. I'm not a huge sushi guy, but I believe I got the Kyoto sushi (unagi, shrimp tempura and avocado) and wow, I was blown away.
Friendly staff as well.
Has a Japanese vibe to it. Reminded me of my times in Tokyo. Tasty rolls, sashimi and edamame. They were happy to customize some of the rolls we asked them to. Fast and honestly friendly service.
The hubby and I had the absolutely best teriyaki chicken and the greatest sushi rolls ever. The staff are very friendly as well. We will be back soon. Thanks
Great atmosphere, huge dining room for parties but I always sit at the bar. Sapporo on draft for 2.75? Oh yeah.
