Absolutely perfect burger! It was outstanding! The size is pretty large to which makes it hard to finish. Smaller inside with only a couple tables. Grab an go if you can.
My brother wasn't feeling well and wanted a great shake. I searched online and came up with Pearl's. I only bought shakes but they were fantastic! The more common flavors are $5 while the more unusual (such as Nutella) are $1 more. So the prices are fair for a good sized shake. I would like to go back for the burgers, fries and other items as the customers enjoying these looked very happy! It's a very casual place and you order at the counter. They even offer Kobe burgers at around $15. Their fries looked delicious!!
During a US visit you will have burgers, one way or the other. Pearl’s burgers make you understand the big big difference between fast food chain burgers and succulent BURGERS. Well done chef!
Outside appearence does not signal it but this place is Zagat rated as one of the best hamburgers in San Francisco. I am rating it 5 stars for its taste, since appearence and decor is secondary in a burger place. Deluxe with cheese is almost perfect, (juicy, tasty and cooked according to your order), I only had to add pickles myself. Fried potatoes are up for discussion. Some of us loved them and some of us only rated them fair. You’ll have to see for yourselves :) Must try 🤩
This was completely unexpected. Ok, maybe somewhat expected, because I saw it on someone else's itinerary when they stayed in San Fran. But they never visited, so it was up to me to check it out. I went with the buffalo burger (as in, buffalo meat) with garlic fries and I can honestly say this was one of the best meals of my life. You can pick any burger, but do not skip the garlic fries. They're the best I've tried. Couldn't believe on how crunchy and yet soft on the inside they were. Definitely coming back here next time.

The fries and onion rings were my favorite . Super crispy and delish . The rings had a hint of spice to them . The mini burger was good too ! Plus they have all you can eat pickles - what could go wrong :) Highly recommended !
Asked for medium rare and I got medium rare. Was actually a little surprised given its an el cheapo burger joint. Very impressive. The burger was pretty good but the fries were absolutely awesome. Perfect crunchiness.
I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries for $12. It was worth every penny! Delicious burger and very nice staff. Manager is very nice and accommodating. I will be coming back.

Unreal Burgers. Pearl's is a pleasant surprise in a neighborhood with a not-so-pleasant reputation. The Tenderloin District is generally seen as a place to avoid when in SF, but if you want a burger that will make you feel alive, you need to check out Pearl's.
I was at the Westfield Mall near Market Street with a friend when we decided to look for a good and inexpensive restaurant nearby. After checking Yelp, Pearl's immediately stood out to me because their burgers looked great at an affordable price. It was a good 15 minute walk to get to Pearl's, but it was well worth it. At first, the restaurant seems rather plain. There's nothing on the outside that catches the eye, and the inside seems simple. But the aroma of the restaurant is all you need to be convinced that they serve good food. Pearls' list of specialty burgers is something to be admired. I had a hard time trying to decide on a burger, but I went with my gut and decided on the Phat Bob. This particular burger included BBQ sauce, bacon, mayo, onion rings, and jack cheese. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake on the side (not the most healthy meal ha).
The burger was unreal. In a world full of fast food, it's sometimes hard to find a burger that really stands out, but this burger did just that. The milkshake was great too. Overall, the meal exceeded my expectations. My friend ordered the veggie burger with a side of frings (half french fries, half onion rings). He really enjoyed his meal as well. The fries were good and the onion rings were average, but the burgers overshadow any other part of the Pearl's experience. I can't wait to go back to try more burgers on the menu. If you are looking for a healthy option and a nice dining experience, then Pearl's probably isn't the best option for you. But if you want a burger that will leave you satisfied, look no further.
Awesome super saucy burgers, you will need a napkin or 15! Had both the beef and buffalo burgers… and honestly the early American settlers were right... Buffalo kinda tastes weird. But the beef burgers, in one world yumalicious
The food here is good, but I was most impressed by the excellent service. When I asked for no bun (as I eat Paleo), I was offered my burger lettuce-wrapped instead. When I got my food, I was offered a bigger to-go-style box (as against a dine-in basket) so that I would have an easier time using a fork and knife. Everybody was friendly and made me feel welcome. I don't even live in San Francisco, but in a few weeks, I visited this Pearl's at least three times. If you want a decent burger in the city, this is a great place to go.
Pearl's is really neat. Every time i go the cashiers are always extremely friendly and approachable. I really dig the vintage look to the place. It makes everything feel genuine. The food was also really good. The fries are my favorite, and the milkshakes are to die for (they have so many!). I look forward to coming back every time I leave.
They have the most amazing burgers I've ever had. I would highly recommend the turkey burger (Prized Pearl especially). They have a great variety of shakes from the usual (Vanilla, chocolate) to the unusual (Nutella, Cheesecake). Overalll great place and highly recommended.
Seriously the best burgers & fries ever! Never eating "american" fast food again. Great, fast service & all employees stayed productive at all times. But they kinda had to because the traffic flow never ceased. if youre in the area & desire a good burger & shake, go to pearls!
Top 5 burguer joint in the city. If you come make sure to order the Bula Burger. It can get a bit messey, but its well worth it. The combination of the teriyaki pinapple sauce mixes perfectly with their grass feed beef pattys. I also highly recomend the bannana/nutella milke shake if your really hungry. If you really want to go big order the burguer with buffalo meat. This is a must try! Enjoy
Great burger place - though in a rather sketch area. I always always get the burger with the avocado and then share a springs (fries/onion rings) with a friend. That with the pickles and a milkshake makes a perfect little lunch.
Good price, fast service, tasty burger, amazing Oreo milkshake. Recommend.
For you burger artisans there is a Kobe beef option. I'm told it's excellent.

Best burger in San Francisco, PERIOD. They cook your meat to order (bloody, when I order), and their ingredients are as real as the craziness in the neighborhood. I love this place for lunch. Particularly, the PHAT BOB or DA BOMB.
FOOD:
Kobe Cheese Burger = GOOD BURGER. Kinda messy at the end. But noms.
Onion Rings = huge. Good.
SERVICE:
Order at counter, they bring it out. Service is good, workers are cheerful :)
ATMOSPHERE:
Casual old skool burger joint, pretty roomie, in the TL so you can observe the interesting characters around lol..
Delicious mushroom turkey burger. Some of the best onion rings we've ever had - nice and peppery. The buffalo burger was too gamey for us.
