First time ive been here and it did not dissapoint. I had a baja burger, steak cut fries (awesome), and a turkish coffee shake i finished every bit of it and went home and took a nap it was that good. My friend usually doesnt eat alot so when we asked for our bill and the waiter saw it was barely touched he seemed genuinely concerned and asked if everything was ok. I like that good job....
Visiting San Francisco for our anniversary. This is a neat little restaurant that is mixed in amongst the neighborhood. We enjoyed the menu choices, fast service and great food. The burgers are delicious and the salads are yummy too! Kid friendly! Do yourself a favor and check out Barney’s!!
One of the best burger spots in town. Food is delicious, just make sure to save space for the Turkish Coffee milkshake! The portions are huge which means you can have a delicious meal at that time and save some for later. The servers are very friendly, food is quick and tasty, and the restaurant is always clean. Always a treat for locals and visitors!
This is the best salad I've ever had. I'm not kidding. I go places often in the city looking for a healthy filling salad. The chicken is grade A quality and you can tell its fresh over a flame. So so good. Not to mention the burgers and sandwiches are amazing. I've also had the curly fries, which is why I'm at the gym extra long today. The servers are always sweet and usually know our order unless we switch it up. Can get chilly outside in the front patio but there are heaters. Can also be a bit pricey but what isn't in sf. Considering mixt is about the same price (and I like mixt), I would say the quality here is so much better.
This is a great place to take a family with delicious burgers, shakes, chicken sandwiches and salads. There is wine on the menu too. While sound levels can get loud when crowded, the outdoor area is more calm and heated too. Super friendly staff. We go here frequently for take out too.
I hadn’t been to Barney’s in many years but had a craving for a burger. It’s still a nice and cozy spot with a heated outdoor area. Burgers made to order with several meat options and a plant based meat as well. It’s an oldie and a goodie!
Had the big 1lb/16oz (~13.5 oz cooked with cheese by my scale) burger. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant that offered a one pound burger that’s one patty. It’s a solid burger - great consistency - however I feel it needs some more seasoning. I added the provided sauce and ketchup and it was great. I’d go back.

Me and my buddy had the moroccan burger. That was definitely an amazing burger. The dry rub that they use definitely came out and with out being to strong. We also had the gastro pub. I have mixed feelings about this one. It’s a good burger with the best bacon I have ever had. The only problem was the bacon was so good the rest of the burger kinda gets in the way. And lastly the frys and onions rings sucked. The frys looked amazing but had no flavor and were far to soggy. The onion rings were also bland
Phenomenal burgers and fries, definitely worth going out of your way for. The restaurant itself is also very cute and the seating is quite nice.
Nestled in the Noel Valley this staple of the neighborhood serves delicious American food from salads two sandwiches too hot dogs as well as milkshakes. For the adults they also have a beer on tap on wine for the willing.
Wow! What a nice place! Huge burgers (as an European ;) ), tasty and juicy, with great ingredients. Excellent choice of different combinations, you might need a while to decide what to get! The IPA I got perfectly matched the food. You'll definitely leave happy with a full stomach. Good job!
