Our go to restaurant for fantastic food, we feel we’re back in Italy. Squid ink risotto; cioppino - it doesn’t get any better! Excellent service.
First of all we are Italian and trust me if I tell you that here you can experience really good original Italian food...

We were recommended this restaurant from a local hairdresser when we asked about good authentic Italian! We visited and could only get in for an early a slot and had to be out in an hour obviously as they were busy! My husband always orders gnocchi if it is on the menu and he rated this as the best gnocchi he has ever had! Well done to you guys La Briciola
Simple. Great fresh, well-pr.... Great fresh, well-prepared Tuscan cuisine. Knowledgeable Italian staff. Intimate. Nothing fancy. Simple = superb! Just exceptional food. Go.
Like being in Italy. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been in the US. Hand-made pasta is delicious. We had fabulous gnocchi and great tagliatelle with black truffle. A must

(great). the Sea Bass Ravioli very good, the Fillet in a medium Truffle sauce lightly crusted, excellent in combination with a glass of Italian Sangiovese. Veggies fresh, potatoes...aldente. Tiramisu is to die for, but don't. Best thing about this place is you don't have to fight the crowds and parking in Northbeach. They speak Italiano here..

The environment is small and friendly, perfect for a date night.

order the mushroom truffle pasta, it was really good! 9/10
And order the creme caramel for dessert, it was 5/10， too sweet and it can not hold its shape.
This is my absolute favorite local Italian spot. Great variety on the menu, with an excellent selection of seafood options. Each meal is served with yummy bread along with olive oil and olives, and friendly, responsive service. The wine list has never disappointed.
Awesome wait staff, they really take care if you here. The food is great, especially the lasagna. Really hits the spot when craving Italian. I really enjoyed our wine, too. The owner is a real Italian, and great fun to chat with if he's around. Great for business lunches.
The waiter was actually Italian which was a vote of confidence that didn't fail at any point throughout the meal! Great service and delicious options. I had a wine and seafood pasta, all of which I enjoyed greatly. Portions are large so come hungry!
Service is excellent and the appetizer we ordered were delicious. My pasta was just good; I am still looking for the Italian restaurant that serves the "spaghetti alle vongole" as we do it in Italy (it is my favorite dish!) . I do recommend this restaurant, though. Everything else was superb!
The place was clean, and I do appreciate that, because restaurants in the States tend to be incredibly dirty 😖.

We celebrated my brother-in-law (Jon's) birthday at La Bricola - it was a Sunday night and we had a party of 9. I sat with my parents and husband at one end of the table, and Jon had friends and family around him at the other end. Less than a week had gone by since an accident had claimed the life of his wife, my sister, so the mood was quiet and tearful, instead of the happy and fun birthday dinner she had planned for him just days before.
A few appetizers were ordered but I only remember eating lots of crispy, fried calamari. A plate of it landed in front of me and I enjoyed tons of lightly breaded, flavorful, crunchy pieces. I also went a little crazy with the bread and olive oil on the table. Pretty sure I ate more than my fair share of all the community dishes.
For dinner my husband had lamb, served in a plateful of gravy - he ate every bite and said it was delicious. I had a seafood pasta with squid ink, which dyed the noodles black. Seemed to appropriately fit my mood - and also looked pretty cool. It was delicious too. Lots of seafood and a great sauce. I hardly remember eating, or what anyone talked about, but I also cleaned my plate.
Service was great - friendly without being more enthusiastic than we could handle. I think a dessert with a candle showed up at the end of the meal. Thank goodness the staff didn't include a song with the dessert. Everything was really enjoyable (as much as it could be) and I'd definitely return!

My second favorite Italian restaurant in the city and favorite in the neighborhood.
Tried their seafood appetizers, salads and entrees on numerous occasions. Never disappointed. Service is a bit on the slow side but pretty good otherwise.
the food was pretty good! it was fresh and delicious. i ordered the pasta with broccoli rabe and it was very good. the sever was really nice and spoke spanish which was helpful for my grandparents. they also have delicious tiramisu but a little on the pricey side. i also think they should have some more simpler options, like spaghetii and marinara sauce or something like that. i don’t suggest for family with younger kids, but it is a great date night spot!
Have dined here several times and looking forward to the next visit. Ordering a single pasta dish is enough here as portions are sizable. They also have a very reasonably priced wine list with some nice Italian offerings.
