Such a wonderful mom and pop business in the Mission District the family runs it and operates it and they operate it to the highest standards! If you're looking for real Mexican food no matter what it is, its on the menu! There is always the best customer service with a smile! The food is amazing whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner it's the tastiest food in the city! Kudos to the Reyes family for maintaining the high customer standards!
The best Mexican food I had in that area. I am very picky on my Mexican food too. I already referred it to all my friends that travel to the bay. I will be back

One of my favorite Mexican spots in San Francisco. The proprietors are extremely nice and welcoming and have created a very warm and colorful dining room. The food is really really excellent. Everything is super fresh, top quality and full of flavor and color. The lunch specials menu offers great value

I love their Caldo de res soup ( beef soup) very authentic...
San Jalisco is a nice place to eat. The waiters are really friendly and helpful. The food tastes great. I recommend you try the Birria on the weekends. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I really enjoy eating here, I come here almost every week.
A great neighborhood spot that always has something for you. Caldo is good for these colder evenings. Breakfast served all day. Grill plates are always comforting. The best part is the homemade tortillas. Fun and vibrant decor with clever signs hidden around.

What a great restaurant we stumbled upon while in The Mission District. The decor is so much fun. Bright and cheerful. We were greeted, seated and our order was promptly. We enjoyed our cold beers and our food arrived quickly.
The first bite brought me back to my childhood; my grandmother’s kitchen. The tortillas were made fresh and the flavors of the carnitas was superb!!! I WILL BE BACK!!
Ordered the Carnitas Plate with refried beans. The portions are fantastic, lots of big chunks of delicious carnitas. Plenty of very flavorful refried beans. Fresh and tasty guacamole/ pico de gallo. The warm corn tortillas are made in house, they really elevate the whole meal, absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, quick, and very efficient. Complimentary chips and salsa were very good. My only gripe about my entire experience here was the rice should have been fresher, it was very dry. San Jalisco is definitely putting out excellent food at reasonable prices and very good service. Looking forward to my next time eating here to try a different dish. Highly recommend this business
Authentic Mexican restaurant located in the mission district. Very friendly staff and food was delicious. Get ready for very large portion! So make sure to avoid too many dishes. The service was very fast and although I found a queue of 6 people, it took only 20 minutes to get served. If you love Mexican food, this is a place you cannot miss when in San Francisco
This establishment has a solid reputation of serving the freshest food. I either order the green enchiladas or the mole. The chicken is moist seasoned well. The Verde is delicious there seems to be just enough to cover the fluffy Spanish rice.
This is a must visit restaurant...study the menu find you a new favorite dish or two or three.
The wait staff are pleasant, professional and ready to serve you.
I was just tooling around minding my own business when I spotted the San Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, so I called my pal Triple E LeakPeeler to join me in some tacos de Birria, he was all in, and just 5 minutes away at his family's Chartarossa factory.
Man-O-Man were those tacos great!

SanJalisco was a great surprise. This is by far the BEST and Authentic Jalisco Mexican food in San Francisco. The restaurant decor was unique. We were warmly greeted by the manager, Margarita, who was efficient and so pleasant. We ordered as an appetizer Choriqueso with Flour Tortillas...a standout! The crispy sides with the chewy queso matched the flavorful Chorizo. For main course We ordered the Carne Asada...thick cut and Medium Rare. It was the BEST Carne Asada we have ever tasted...hands down. For my main a ordered the appetizer Trio. It came with two Fried Tacos, two Chicken Flautas with an awesomely delicious Mole sauce and a huge creamy Salad on top of crispy tortilla. As a bonus Margarita gave me a side soup with vegetables and meat...as I mistakenly thought it came with a hot soup. The Trio combination appetizer was a knockout! Service was quick, warm and super efficient. As a plus, the restroom was very clean and well stocked! I only wish they had a "mild" salsa as it was too spicy for me. We WILL be back for sure! And to those that have not tried SanJalisco...you are missing out...for sure!

Great authentic Mexican restaurant in Mission! Ordered their two-item combo and got a chicken enchilada and potato flauta. Service was great and food came out fast. Love the atmosphere and artwork all around the restaurant.
I got the carnitas plate, and oh boy, I don't regret a bit since it was my first time visiting this outstanding place. Everyone working there was super busy but really friendly while I was waiting for my takeout food. Next time, I'll make myself time to eat there instead. Decoration is unique and original for a Mexican restaurant. Prices are very affordable, and the food is real Mexican taste. I'm definitely going back. !!
