Excellent dive bar vibe tasting room. Ample seating and a nice little patio out back. Great selection of Rogue beers and guest taps.
Tons of beer options! They had a bunch of their own stuff and like 10 or so guest taps too. They also had nearly everything bottled, or you could always get a growler too. I ended up trying 8 or so of their beers, and the standouts for me were the Fresh Roast Brown, and the Chocolate Stout. The other beers were also good though. I didn't try any food, but what I saw looked good. The bartender was great though. He was a man who liked beer and had no problem giving you his real opinion on the beer options. He talked us off a couple of beers and in to a few others. And the recommendations from him that we tried definitely worked out in our favor.
Tried a few 🍺 at the city 🍺 run on 8-12-17. Was surprised by how good the 🍺 tasted. 6 hop IPA was solid. The Belgian Golden Ale was super rich. 10.9% ABV... Whoa.
Place was severely under staffed for the event. Felt bad for the workers.
Diverse beer offering, solid food offering, friendly staff, outdoor beer garden. As breweries / pubs go, not much to complain about!
Nice beer selection, and nice atmosphere. A bit expensive compared to other places with similar selection but placed in a great neighborhood. The food is really good. Appetizers are great, tasty and plentiful. After having had the hummus plate we decided to cancel our reservation to another place to have a salad and the house burger here for dinner. Both totally worth! Tots are also very tasty. Friendly service.
Love this spot! They have a great and changing menu, lots of beer selection and plenty of awards for that beer! I've been here a couple of times that I've been to the city and I've enjoyed it each time. Once I had dinner and another I just had a beer while I waited for my table to come up at a neighboring restaurant. They have super cool merchandise in the gift shop and the service is pretty decent. It's the kind of place I would be hanging out a lot more if I lived in San Francisco. It's also in my favorite neighborhood North Beach. So Lovely, lots of great spots and I always find myself over this way when in this city!
Awesome selection of craft brews on tap (both Rogue and some guest taps) and decent pub-style food.
I really enjoyed the beer here. The 'Big Ass Braggot' was excellent. I asked the waiter for recommendations as far as food was concerned and he immediately suggested the Kobe burgers. After trying one, I completely agree.. They were skillfully cooked and packed full of flavor. Overall, the meal was a perfect compliment to the enjoyable beer and atmosphere.
Amazing beer selection, both of their beers(20+ taps) and guest beers. They do flights of their own beers, which is wonderful since I hadn't tried a substantial number of them. And their 'blue balls' were very tasty. For that matter, anything with their blue cheese in it was amazing, since it's amazing.
Best bar in San Francisco! My wife and I just walked a little bit around the city to find a spot to chill and eat when we came across Rogue. All-around great service and fantastic selections - especially for the ones who like imperial stouts! Their 2017 Rolling Thunder Imperial Stout is fantastic and the food there was perfect bar food. All the food we had chicken tenders + fries, cheese curds, and soft pretzel sticks were world-class. Great service and they are a fantastic value for the price! If you plan on going to a bar, GO THERE! You won't regret it!
