The Matzo ball soup hands down the best I've ever had.
The pastrami Ruben was balanced and delicious
The pickled veg plate put it over the top.
Look forward to a return visit.
Amazing and delicious. I had the club sandwich, boyfriend had the pastrami burger. Didn't even miss the bacon the pastrami was so good.

Cute place in the corner. I came here looking for bagels 🥯 my friend said it tasted like New York style bagels. I was there late evening so I didn't have the option for bagels. But my first time trying the matzo ball soup and it was well made and delicious 😋 my sisters had some sandwiches and it looks delicious well made. Check this place out when in San Francisco
A very nice deli at the corner of the neighborhood, only less than 15 mins away from downtown.
Was in a rush, so directly asked for "the most classic sandwich 🥪", they recommend "The Reubens - OG", which is the meat (I choose Pastrami) with Russian dressing, swiss, and sauerkraut.
OMG, it's so simple, but it's SO GOOD, pastrami was well seasoned and grilled, the sauerkraut offers the sour and freshness to go with bread and meat, everything was just on point.
Really great bagels and food. We had the schnitzel sandwich and one of the breakfast sandwiches. Schnitzel was made to perfection and all of the ingredients tasted great and high quality. 10/10 would recommend and will return again soon
One of the best Jewish delis in SF with a pretty large menu. The food is quite good here but can take a bit longer to get to the table but that’s just because they get a lot of pick up orders. We got the breakfast burrito with salsa, bagel and cream cheese, and potato latkes. The latkes were extremely crispy and paired perfectly with the sour cream and apple sauce. I wish the bagel was a more toasted but it was really good.
Finally, last Saturday, I could have my lunch in this spot: a place without complications, or pretensions, with a simple menu full of flavor and friendly staff.
The place is clean and full of natural light; the moment you enter, the smell of the food transports you to a happy place in your mind, and you will want everything on the menu.
Because I had no more stomach, I only had "the popeye" (eggs, roasted mushrooms, spinach, and melted cheese served on a toasted sesame bagel).
I am looking forward to coming back to try everything on their menu!
We ordered from them a few times, and always enjoyed the food, and the professional, accurate heating instructions attached. I also want to mention the staff is always extremely friendly, and recently went out of their way to help me out due to a misunderstanding on my part. I think a business is measured also by the service they provide, and want to commend wise sons for theirs.
The everything bagel with salmon spread sounds like a very popular order, I heard it three times in seven minutes while I waited for my pastrami sandwich. The sandwich itself is a bit dry but the pastrami had good flavor. It comes with a potato salad that is super smooth (I know a weird thing to say about potato salad but it is smooth) and delicious! Quick and friendly, come support your local restaurants!
I got the combo 1/2 sandwich and chicken soup with matzo ball with a side of potato salad. First off, their pastrami is fantastic. The rye bread tastes like real rye bread. The potato salad was great. The included pickles are the quick pickle kind you'll find in a stainless cup table-side in NYC. The side of horseradish I ordered was tasty. Yum for all of that.
And here's the thing I don't get. The chicken soup was so meh it went straight into the compost bin. How do you mess up chicken soup at a Jewish deli? Regardless of the chicken bits, egg noodles, matzo ball and some veg... it starts with the broth. Swing and a miss. Someone's grandmother would give it the stink eye.
This place is always delicious! The lox bagles are fantastic, so good! And the deli scramble is amazing, though it's missing some kind of cheese or something to put on the bread. Overall, it's an amazing brunch with a Jewish flare.
I always wanted to come here but the idea of trying to find parking in the Mission on the weekends kept me away. I'm glad I did. I've had their matzo ball soup and pastrami sandwich at the down town location next to the Jewish Museum. At this location they have fries with pastrami and chipped pickles. The fries were fresh potatoes. Yum!
Service is quick and friendly.
