Great pit stop on the way to Golden Gate Bridge. Staff friendly and nice range of gifts. Limited menu which could be expanded more. Coffee good price but basic machine and no alternative milks etc. lovely old building worth a look
A very beautiful and atmospheric place for a cafe, although the cafe itself could be updated a little modern :) 😃
When it's foggy and drizzling, it's especially nice to have a cup of hot tea. ☕️🫖
There are many tables around the cafe where you can sit and look at the landscape of the former prison, but you can just look at the bridge while walking, it would not be bad to make benches and tables on the other side of the cafe, especially since the place allows. 🌉🌁
Americans somehow don't really bother with the improvement of tourist places. 🇺🇸😎
Great location:)
You could have a hot chocolate with great view . and get a (nice ) postcard . =D
This store has beautiful views of golden gate with some snack, hot chocolate, ice cream. Well maintained and fast service. Attached view of golden gate from this store

The woman helping us was incredibly kind. She offered my son the opportunity to get a jr ranger badge which I highly reccomend. We bought a few gifts here. The snacks and popsicles were yummy. Coffee could be fancier but it’s a warming hut so I forgive this.
Highly recommend popping by this shop; does a lovely job of curating items from Bay Area companies such as Curaçao Chocolates, Bryant Terry (cookbook author) and more. Has a few vegan snacks as well.
Pros: They can find the basics if you are in the area: some cold drinks, some souvenirs, books, etc. When it is cold outside, you can definitely get a warm drink. It is more of a shop than a bar/food place though, so know what you expect. The staff was really nice, and the products they have are high quality and at a very decent price.
Cons: Not really
The merchandise is very cute, memorable, and worth the purchase! There are decorations, children's books, art pieces, all sorts of wonderful tokens made in honor of the City and the Golden Gate. Even just strolling in here is relaxing, I suggest doing it while you're traveling by that area especially if you're not a local.
They had souvenirs, coffee, and hot cocoa. It's a nice little store. Restrooms are around to the side.
