Absolutely incredible restaurant. The food was very unique Chinese fusion. When we sat down and explained one of us had a gluten allergy the waiter said don't worry I'll take care of you and order for you. And we are so grateful he did! We had an incredible assortment of dishes that were all made to be gluten free. Come here expecting the untraditional and delicious!
This is exactly the restaurant you want to eat at when visiting Chinatown in San Francisco! All the food was beyond delicious! We had soups, egg pockets and amazing steamed buns. I could eat the soup every single day. The crisp rice in the light broth was heaven! The steam tofu bun was so simple but perfect! I really liked the egg pocket and I know how amazing it was but it paled next to the soup and buns. I would choose the buns if you’re on the fence and can only get one. The service was fast and efficient and still everyone managed to be very warm and friendly. I’ll definitely be back and can see why this place is so loved!
Service was great and quick- which we needed because our kids started to get super tired from our day. The food was good but not as great as I had hoped, I still highly recommend this spot. We ate at an off time (3pm) and were seated immediately!
Some of the best food I have ever eaten. I’m vegetarian and the options were amazing. From the house noodles to the tofu and broccoli in black bean sauce to the onion cakes with peanut sauce. It was utter mouth watering perfection. My friends also enjoyed the wonton soup. The service and atmosphere were homey and awesome and the food was spectacular.
Easily the best Chinese food in San Francisco and reasonably priced. The sauces they use are out of this world good. They also have amazing vegan/vegetarian options. You may have to wait a bit to be seated, but it is well worth the wait. Definitely check this place out!
This food was average, not mind blowing according to other reviews. Also, the waiters were not that helpful. This is a pretty good place if you want to come but will probably not come again.
First day in San Francisco and we came here to try their wonderful food. We started with some fried potstickers in peanut sauce and egg rolls. They were both fried to perfection and delicious (peanut sauce is so good). Next we moved onto their house noodles with shrimp and sesame chicken with sweet potato. Both of those delicious were full of fresh flavor. I really loved both and they were a perfect pair. Highly recommend this restaurant for their yummy food and good, fast service. The lines move quick here, so have no worries!
Popular tourist spot . Owner, Peter Fang was there and took our order. He is very nice and asked us how our food was. He even took a picture with us. The restaurant is very cozy so lot of boxes and materials on the side. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Really good food! The service was really good, more people should go to this place. GET THE FRIED RICE, they will bring it to you and then add some special spices and mix it (it's also really good rice. 9/10 would recommend but the atmosphere could be better
Tasty and creative/inventive dishes. I think the poor reviews on here are a result of gap in expectation. This is a great restaurant with creative and inspired dishes. They are not a traditional Chinese restaurant with only typical dishes. The menu is fun, and the food is tasty. The portions generally are pretty large, but the shrimp dishes could have benefited from a bit more shrimps! But still very solid. Everything is a La carte. So you will need to order rice or noodles to accompany your protein main dish. We got the Salt Shrimp and Kung Pow Shrimp. Kung POW was our favorite! We also had a tofu and chicken bun. Delicious and interesting! Get there early or be prepared to wait. Some indoor, and some outdoor seating!
