Service was great (and patient while we scoped the variety of products)
GREAT value. I thought the food would be small for the price but nahhhh great size and taste.i got the house quesadilla. The chicken was juicy and had a good slight char. The queso was smooth and consistent and the tortilla was flaky with the perfect amount of chewy-ness.
Also got the strawberry margarita. Give me a damn gallon it was amazing.
Be back to try the rest.
Enjoyed the Grilled Pineapple Al Pastor Bowl which was pretty spicy. The Street Corn Bowl was okay. Portions were perfect
Love this place AND the TACOS!!! Get the fish taco! They give you a massive lot of fish and it is incredibly flavorful and delicious
Quick & Short: Clean restaurant with good service and good food.
Detailed: Restaurants like this are awesome because they offer more than just a regular meal. Because they have gluten free options, it helps those who need to be GF to feel included.
We ordered some tacos, beef chorizo & pastor, cilantro rice & queso. And it was delicious. It really hit the spot!

This was probably the best taco I’ve ever had they have so many gluten-free options. And I said wow probably 50 times whilst eating both the taco and the gluten-free burrito. I will come back here regularly to eat both alone and with my girlfriend. I can’t wait to try more of their items on their menu. They have many many many options and I can’t wait to say wow more times while saying, moaning noises while eating great Mexican food. Kudos to the chef, that taco was just so good thank you.
We tried the new branch in UTC Westfield mall. Overall great food great vibes but service was a bit slow. You have the freedom of customizing you protein and queso any way you like. We got the taco combo (Tulum, Baja) the portion was small but tastes great + the combo comes with a drink and a side for $10 only.
We also tried the Fajita Del Rey which was great as chef recommended but a bit spicy for our taste. for drinks we got the watermelon lemonade which was refreshing.
Churros for dessert were delicious. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food. We just recommend they increase the number staff. Definitely coming back
Fast and truly fresh. Seasoned just right. You must order a pitcher of the Rose Sangria (surprisingly good and on $17.75), the plantains and guacamole which is topped with pomegranate and pumpkin seeds is outta this world.
The overall concept is great choose an entree type ...Bowl or sald or burrito, etc. Add protein and a cheese if you want, but the dishes are great in their own.
Give it a try.. I did La Jolla location at UTC, enjoying shopping and a movie after lunch.
Decent spot. Food had an overall “fresh” taste to it. Not bad, for anyone looking for a more “taco shop” place….this wouldn’t be your spot. But good overall.

First time at Tocayo! My daughter raved about the Tempe location and today we had to give the LJ location a go.
We were greeted by a friendly Kenneth who happily went over the menu and gave recommendations.
We tried the Tinga, Baja, Asada and Tierra. All very flavorful with quality ingredients. Loved every bite and would definitely come back to try other items on their plentiful menu. The mild salsas and guacamole were fresh and tasty.

Tocaya salad vegan cilatro chicken was amazing! Also had their vegan Pico w betong meat taco wow! So much flavor. Must comeback and try other items on the menu 😋
