My grandmother used to bring my brother and me here, and even 30 years later, we continue to visit. While there may have been a change in ownership, the essence remains the same. The service is friendly, the burgers are fantastic, and the daily specials are always varied and excellent. The John Wayne-themed ambiance adds a cool touch. This bar and grill are welcoming to kids, filled with locals enjoying sports, new fathers celebrating births, and families savoring comfort food. Undoubtedly, the best burger on this side of The 5 freeway.
It was my first time here tonight, my partner and I almost left when we pulled up because we thought it was closed but I'm glad we went in (front door has a tint on it so we couldn't see inside very well from the parking lot at night).
Eden gave great customer service, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was nice. Felt like a CLEAN dive/bar & grill. We definitely will be back.
From the outside, it looked like a small hole in the wall bar and grill. Once inside, it had a fairly large dining area. The service was GREAT! The menu had a good variety of options and they offer daily specials for food and beverages.
The Cheesy Bacon Tots we ordered as an appetizer were good. The tots were crispy and the cheese and bacon were plentiful. If you like jalepenos, you will love the large jalepeno slices topping the cheese tots.
The wings (6 per order) and burgers we ordered sadly left something to be desired. We ordered the California Burger and the Blue Cheese Burger on special for the day. The burger patties appeared to be frozen patties. The patty did not have much flavor at all. The toppings were delicious and would have been so much better on a fresh patty. The regular fries served with the burgers were a bit soggy.
We enjoyed our visit and will try some of their other menu items in hopes of finding their signature dishes.
We went to Longhorn after a High School Football game late. The place was packed. The crew still served us politely, with reasonable speed & got everything correct. The chef was slammed & pushed through. True sports bar & food. Hearty and tasty.

Their daily specials are great and always changing. The 'Duke' John Wayne theme is cool. This bar and grill is kid friendly. It's full of locals watching sports, new fathers from Kaiser Hospital celebrating the birth of their child and families eating comfort food. Definitely best burger this side of The 5 freeway.

Fun , local place to go to. If you love John Wayne, this is a very nostalgic place to go. I loved it. Good service too and good food.
Great service and atmosphere for sure. The bartender makes 90% of that! Decent food, and dig the vibe.
