I was pleasantly surprised because I don’t eat seafood, but there was plenty of other food I could eat there. Also so glad it did not smell like the ocean in there. The price of the buffet was great considering all the food the had. Definitely will visit again.

My aunt brought me to this place. This is my first time to eat in this restaurant. I must say the place is clean. The staffers are friendly. The food is great. There are wide selection of food. If I will go back to San Diego, I would love to go back to this restaurant and eat!

Great open floor and multiple area to walk similar to Golden Corral and Honetown Buffet just with seafood. Teppanyaki stand in the back with alot of meats and vegetable options. Servers were tentative to the tables and cleared used plates within minutes. Alot of options to pick from. The only complaint I had was with the butter being burned but it was addressed. Frog legs, shrimp, crab, and more. Well worth the trip for the price if you eat enough. At $63.76 for two people its as much as you would spend at any seafood restaurant.

I’ve been here multiple times and this place is so worth going, especially if you have any family gathering, events, celebrations or just a Friday night treat yourself dinner! They have amazing seasonal foods that are on rotation. There’s always such fresh fruits and the sushi bar is always stocked with fresh seafood. You can come here and take food to go as well. Just ask for a box and fill it up with anything you want and they’ll weigh it for you.

Was okay. The only thing that really bothered me was plastic utensils and just disposable plates and cups.. just disposable everything so yeah thats the only thing i didnt like. But the food was okay. Had sashimi and oyster which i love and quite rare. But yeah overall experience wasnt bad but hopefully they change into real utensils and plates.

We've been here several times only during the weekends and am glad to finally have the chance to review the Seaside Buffet. If you have an insatiable craving for quality seafood and concurrently taking cost into an account then Seaside wins the battle. I have not had the opportunity to dine in on weekdays, but I hear that lunch only cost $11.88 for an adult on Wednesdays; what a deal. But even when you pay for $21.88 per person for an adult on weekends, I think you certainly get your money's worth. This place even offers various discounts; 10% off for seniors 65+ and for the military service members alike. Children that are 3-5 ft. tall are definitely in for a treat for half of the price. A plus for Yelpers by receiving a buy one get one free of any of their flavored and non-flavored ice tea upon check-in. On weekends, the parking can get really busy but you should be able to find a spot in no time. The wait time to be seated should not take any longer than 15 minutes as well. The crewmembers are friendly and consistently accommodating. There are multiple food stations with an assortment of craft dishes. They have the seafood, sushi, teppanyaki grill, Brazilian BBQ, noodle, fruit, vegetable and dessert stations. Our personal favorites are the sushi and seafood bars. The raw salmon and salmon sushi sashimi are the best, especially, when dipped in soy sauce mixed with lemon juice. I also come here for their delicious and juicy oysters and escargot. The escargot is also known as, the edible land snails; a popular delicacy in countries such as France, Spain, Italy, Australia and of course the U.S. It's amazing how the oysters and escargots are always available each time we visit; part of the reason why we come here a lot. This past weekend, we were glad to see the shelled jumbo shrimp. I may have had three plates filled with these giant penaeoideas; they kept delivering. Another longtime favorite, which I have not seen for quite some time, are their fish with the fish eggs. They are very good to eat, unfortunately, this time of the year may not be the season. Nevertheless, for those who love crab meat, Seaside may not have the best offerings. The legs are puny and you may need to put on your spectacles to find the meat. But that's minor. The finale is their simple dessert station. They offer cotton candy, a s'mores station, chocolate fondue, green tea/taro ice cream and a few other sweets. They even have mixed drinks, wine, and a wide variety of beers available for those legal age drinkers. The humble atmosphere may not up to par for those with discriminating taste. Nonetheless, the tasty and high-quality seafood to include affordability is where Seaside rose to the top. We'll certainly visit again in the near future.

Just go and enjoy all kinds of tasty seafood. Super huge collection of foods and desert. Very nice decoration. I love it. P.s. This review is from a picky person.

Good food. Service was fine since they were understaffed. Dinner was expensive for $30 each.

Excellent assortment of food options comparable to a vegas buffet. Came here with the boys for a big family party and was absolutely floored by the available choices. I've been trying to clean(ish) lately, and got to enjoy a full protein meal with sashimi and prime rib. The boys were impressed by their selection of dumplings and sweets. We were all amazed that they also had a station where you could make smores over an open fire! The mongolian bbq station was well stocked and tasted great. Will come back again another time we are in the area and extremely hungry.
