Staff and the Steak are amazing!
I spent a couple evenings at Allure and the staff are amazing, very friendly and attentive. The steak was my favorite, every meal I had was excellent.
Great desserts. Friendly and courteous staff. The Julian Apple dessert was made with ginger which gave it a tart taste that went well with the crumble and vanilla bean gelato. The fried carrot cake was equally delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the tapas on a Sunday afternoon.
A really terrific restaurant. This is a really enjoyable restaurant - great, creative food and a really nice atmosphere. The staff is really relaxed and top notch at the same time. We had lamb shank and steelhead - both were great. We had the grilled carrot cake sundae for dessert. We'll definitely be back to try more soon!
I ordered their short rib and it was fork - tender, generous portion of the short rib too, maybe a 3.5 inch cube, like 10 ounce?
Came with a side of veggies which complimented the dish very well. One thing special about the restaurant, the have one of the fanciest restrooms ever! I couldn't refrain from taking pics inside.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Really appreciate the entire staff that accommodated our meal and I wish this restaurant the best of luck. Tough area to have a restaurant, but if they keep making food and drinks like I had the other night I''m sure they'll be fine!

It's unfortunate that when people look for 'top restaurant' in a city they're visiting that the hidden gems like this one with 100% reviews do not pop up near the top. Visited last week while looking for something exactly like this- I read the menu outside and the description read exactly what I was looking for: a talented chef eager to impress. The starter was some unusual creation (complimentary for Cinqo de Mayo) that I can't even begin to describe- a delicate little fried cake filled with roasted red pepper, roasted jalepeno pepper, some other stuff.. in an unusual sauce... it was joyful to experience. We ordered the bone marrow (a new experience, not for everyone), tuna tartar (omg one of the best i've ever had), another tuna cold appetizer, kale salad (refreshing and delicious), and a beautiful pork belly.. it was delicious. The signature 'Allure' cocktail with a floating edible flower was nothing special- I've had better cocktails with a Soho base elsewhere. We had coffees after and sorbets after. The interior is small, cozy, modern and dark, and the servers (we had maybe 3 or 4) are polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, constantly asking for feedback. Our meal cost $90 and we were very happy.
Service was friendly but slow. We came at an off time, so we were the only ones there. It took about 30 minutes for the food to come, and when it did, some of the dishes were already cold. The atmosphere is great, and the place is beautifully decorated.
I need to start off by saying that food is not going to be the same after you eat here. The fried oysters is to die for but if oysters are not your thing then I'd recommend the tuna tartare, calamari, and even the bone marrow. As for the entrée dishes, my favorite is a tie between the short ribs and the lamb shanks. Nothing is wrong with sharing a side of mashed potatoes or truffle fries. I really hope you leave yourself some room for dessert because the carrot cake sundae is a must. People like to throw out the word "amazing" to describe a place but I feel like that word is too loosely used these days. In the case of this restaurant, it is the definition of "amazing." #troll
Try the buffalo bites for lunch, they're amazing. I had the veggie burger and it was nothing to write home about. Salt and vinegar chips were underwhelming as well. Service was great.
Food and service are good.(Pork belly is great!) unfortunately, they seemed to be short of waiters, thus the waiting time might be longer.
