Owner Matt catered a whiskey event I attended. We liked the food so much we stopped in for lunch today. Sat at the counter, Fall Watermelon Jazz for me , yum & a local cider for my friend. Had the grandma’s pie with fancy pepperoni and Calabrian chili. Matt’s use of flavor, and playful menu design create a warm and inviting space. Delicious food, can’t wait to try their upcoming brunch! Salud

Not only is the food some of the freshest and best in San Diego, but the owner Matt and his staff make coming here a real treat. So gracious and fun! Feel so fortunate to have Tribute Pizza in our neighborhood. It is our Friday night date spot! Sit at the bar and watch the show.

Get ready for the ultimate pizza escapade at Tribute Pizza in the lively neighborhood of North Park, San Diego! As we stepped into the restaurant, the laid-back ambiance set the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience for a casual date night. The warm lighting created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings and casual celebrations. The friendly staff greeted us with genuine smiles, making us feel like old friends rather than mere patrons. Their attentiveness and amiable demeanor added an extra layer of charm to the dining affair. Now, let's dive into the pizzas - and oh boy, were they a revelation! The White Mushroom Pizza with Prosciutto was a delectable masterpiece, marrying the earthy flavors of mushrooms with the delicate saltiness of prosciutto. Each bite was a symphony of tastes, perfectly harmonized by the expertly crafted crust that struck a delightful balance between chewy and crispy. Equally impressive was the Vodka Sauce Pizza with Pepperoni, which showcased a tangy and creamy vodka sauce complemented by the zesty kick of pepperoni and the drizzled pesto. The crust, a testament to the pizza artisans' prowess, was a perfect canvas for this flavor medley. To conclude this mouthwatering journey, we ventured into the realm of desserts and were rewarded with the heavenly Strawberry Swirl Ice Cream. The luscious and velvety texture of the ice cream was infused with the essence of ripe strawberries, culminating in a dessert that was both refreshing and indulgent. It was a sweet finale that left us satiated and elated. If you're seeking a memorable pizza feast amidst an atmosphere brimming with warmth and camaraderie, Tribute Pizza is the perfect destination for pizza aficionados and casual diners alike.

Came with a group of friends, amazing cocktails, fantastic service. The eggnog was so good! Pizza was some of the best in the entire city. Definitely a regular pit stop for me now.

I love this restaurant! It's one of my favorites! This time I ordered a woodfired focaccia bread, the silverton chop salad and the dirty dancin' pizza with added bacon. Everything was wonderful! Once again we were fortunate to be served by Kristine, she is the best! Always super friendly and with the best attitude! I recommend that you make a reservation to avoid waiting a long time outside.

Another San Diego pizza gem, located in an old post office building in North Park. I saw a lot of delicious pizzas when we were there, but did not regret ordering the Lady Diavola. Garlic and cheese focaccia was absolutely delicious as well. Couldn't ask for better service - our server was amazing from her tasteful humor to menu recommendations/support. We were visiting from out of town and are so glad we got in a visit here!!

Some of the best pizza you can get in San Diego. You need to get reservations -walk-ins are almost impossible. Their focaccia bread is awesome and the roasted brussel sprouts make for a very nice appetizer. The pizza sizes are actually pretty much as they say and even the 13" one is very generously sized. The 18" one is huge! I had to take a star off for the atmosphere since it can get really noisy inside

Really fun spot for pizza lovers! We’ve been trying to find the best pizza in San Diego, coming from the east coast having all the places we’ve often dined on the menu was really fun and cool to see the different takes on pizzas we’ve enjoyed before. We both really liked the pizzas we ordered and had a lovely time on the patio. We will definitely be coming back again to try more pizza styles and combos!

This is probably my new favorite pizza in San Diego! I've been searching for a better pie this past year, and think I've found it. Woodstock's and Oggi's are my typical go-tos, but this place puts a new tasty spot on the map. It was about $25 out the door for a 13 inch 'Roni Lover pie, and I ate it by myself. It's fairly thin, BUT has that nice woodfire burnt crisp New Haven flair that would drive Dave Portnoy insane. If you're on a budget for a large crowd, maybe stick to Little Nero's or Costco. Lol (Having the Kevin McCallister Cheese Pizza on the menu scores major bonus points!) Keep the change, you filthy animal! 🎄

Shoutout to Ryan for his amazing service. It was our anniversary and he helped make our visit special. We’ve tried a combination of their pizzas (white or red sauces) and they never disappoint. We got the lady daviola and the combo pizza split. Also, their drinks are delicious. I got the sangria and a taste of their Prosecco.

We’ve eaten at Tribute countless times and it’s still the best food I’ve ever had. The pizza, the salads, the noodles, the focaccia, the soft serve. You can’t go wrong!

We celebrated a special occasion here and had an amazing experience. We didn’t make reservations but were fortunate enough to walk in, be greeted warmly and be told they had a table available immediately. Our main server tonight was Alex with some assists by Crystal. Both were super attentive and kind throughout the dinner. Let me preface that we ordered way too much food. Granted neither of us had eaten today but we still overdid it on the ordering front. We started with the Brussels sprouts appetizer adding bacon and we also ordered the Garlic Cheese Focaccia. Brussels appetizer was quite large and tasted delicious. Personal note - I would probably order without the bacon next time. It would have been fine without it and I like my bacon a bit more on the crispy side. The focaccia was soft and tasty and was interesting with the olive oil taste. We then ordered two pizzas, Dirty Dancin ordered Grandma’s Style and Lady Diavola ordered the original style. Dirty Dancin was the clear winner - and my preference in pizza style would also be Grandma’s Style for future visits. Nothing was wrong with Lady Diavola but it was pretty basic and much softer and thinner than the Grandma’s Style. Dirty Dancin (or Patrick Swayze as some apparently call it ) was delectable. I was not sure I was going to like the Harissa Ranch on top but this pizza is a flavor bomb that will make your taste buds sing. We ended up finishing that pizza and taking most of the Diavola home. Drinks were tasty but pricey. Plenty of alcohol in mixed drink. Since we were celebrating a special occasion Alex brought over a complimentary dessert of soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt over it. That was so incredibly kind and delicious. I would highly recommend requesting Alex or Crystal as your server if you have the opportunity. Both were excellent servers.
