I love the food and the service. Highly recommend this place to friends and family as well for the people visit San Diego. This is the place for some awesome BBQ!!!!
The beef is always on point and the sauces are outstanding! Have been coming here since I moved to SD 7 years ago and no place even holds a candle to them... Everytime I go in always see the owner and he is always very nice ! Best place Ever!!!
BBQ BURRITO 🌯 is amazing! It's a magical combination of brisket, baked beans, and slaw wrapped in a flour tortilla... don't knock it till you try it!
When I lived outside San Diego, I craved this place. But every time I return, the flavors are consistent, the service is friendly, and the location is charming (as long as you can find parking).
Fantastic place for us to eat, the food was great. Brynna was an amazing waitress and made sure we were taken care of. The Mac and cheese was the best we’ve ever had, and the game was easy to watch and hear. The food came quick as well.

We had an absolutely fantastic late lunch here. Dog friendly patio, and the food was epic!!! We ordered a parfait with brisket and the spicy rice bowl. The onion rings in the parfait were the best I've ever had. Crispy and salty and delicious!!! Our server Sloan, was soooooo helpful and sweet! What a perfect stop, after our time on the beach. My dog loved it too. She relaxed in the shade and had a quick snooze. Wouldn't hesitate coming here again, when we come back to town.
We are picky eaters. My wife and I walked by this place and decided to give it a shot. Glad we did! The BBQ food was amazing! Trust this review and try the food for yourself! Ask for Max. Great service!
Kid friendly place to sit down, grab a beer some food. Places clean multiple TVs mini sports bar. Staff very pleasant.
BBQ vet here and I thought the pork and beef ribs were great. Nice sauce and lots of it! Plus you can eat them on the beach. Yes it was a mess and yes it was awesome. Good beer list and lots of outdoor space right on the strip.
Amazing BBQ. Great service came on a Saturday evening with my husband and puppy, enjoyed some brews and the best Bbq in town! Thanks for our server and his recommendations 10/10! This is our usual spot when the bbq cravings come 😍🙏🏻
This is what I'm talking about! The bbq chicken here was incredible! The view onto Newport Ave is also nice. Price is right and the quality is on point. The chicken was juicy and excellent! I go here often.
My friends and I had a really nice dinner here. The ambiance had a very cozy feeling to it and everything was super clean. They have a large variety of beers and liquor based drinks. I had the mango habanero martini and let me tell you - hands down one of the best spicy drinks I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot of spicy drinks. The food felt so clean and I wasn’t heavy after eating it. The pork bbq ribs were excellent. They had a ton of meat and they were cooked to perfection. As you can see, the menu has a lot of options. If you’re in the mood for good bbq, this place will not disappoint.
This place was great. You definitely get your money's worth, especially for the carne asada fries (10/10 would recommend) the atmosphere gave Calm but definite happy vibes. 10/10 would go again.
