Anniversary Dinner
We went out for our friend's anniversary dinner. It was a more relaxed atmosphere than we expected but we enjoyed it. We had Lobster and Rib Eye Steak. It was probably the best lobster we’ve ever had.
Great Eating
Many sailors eat here and the food is wonderful. Be sure to try the prime rib! On the weekends there is live music. worth the wait
On my repeat list. My Navy son recommended this place and with good reason... The service is great and the food was terrific. Great seafood and steak. Full bar. Great locals. I definitely recommend checking it out. Atmosphere - it's outstanding!
The best rack of lamb in town!. Love this place from hanging out at the bar after a day sailing to a casual dinner with friends or a nice dinner for "date night." The guys on the grill are amazing, the food is fantastic - bring your appetite! Good wine list, and the best bartenders around!
Relaxing, welcoming local favorite. We love Fiddler's, from the delicious ribeye steak (it's not on the menu, but it seems to be a regular "special") to the baja shrimp cocktail to the excellent, affordable wine. Service is attentive and well-paced. The yacht crowd hangs out at the bar; young folks cluster around the gas fire pit which adds a cozy touch. Choose a booth in the back for privacy and comfort; sit by the front window only if you don't mind the cigarette smoke from outdoor diners drifting in through the door.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. I had the prime rib & added a lobster tail. Prime rib was excellent & the lobster tail was the biggest one I've seen in a while. Both cooked perfectly. My husband got the ribeye & was a little disappointed. It was pretty thin & unfortunately they over cooked it. Overall, would go back & would recommend
The reason for the 5 stars is the owner and bartender was very nice. The website actually said the place was opened and it wasn't but was still allowed to come in sit at bar for a few beers and appetizers. We were able to order food and it was delicious. I've been wanting to try this place and finally did. I thought the decorations was pretty neat inside. Thank you for the great conversation and nice meeting you Ron!
I was visiting from Michigan and my boyfriend and I stopped in here for some seafood. The atmosphere was amazing! The boat and fish decorations were so cool. The waitress was super friendly and got us everything we asked for. The food was AWESOME! We shared the crab cake for an appetizer which was the best I've ever had. I ordered the lobster tail and my boyfriend ordered the steak and jumbo shrimp. We left there very satisfied! Everything was perfect! Thanks for the best experience! Wish I could give you more stars!
Unique pirate-jungle-marine themed decor. Loved the boats on the walls. The clam chowder and tuna poke-style appetizer were quite good, albeit the latter was a tad pricey for its size.
This place is delicious! Steaks are super good quality and cooked perfectly. Amazing potatoes and an awesome staff. Definitely recommend! Was the perfect meal.
After a few days in Vegas with sub par food we found this a hidden gem, we had a starter of coconut shrimp that was amazingly fresh and flavorful. My wife ordered the White Sea bass special and I ordered the Filet Mignon, both entrees were cooked perfectly vegetables were fresh and perfectly steamed. Our service was really great, atmosphere was very casual and comfortable we will be returning on our next trip from Florida!
Nautical restaurant with tons of models of boats, that makes for a very pleasant experience that was geat for sailors like me and I'm sure for the landlubbers too. We went on a Monday and they had a limited menu but everything on the menu was delicious. I had the seared ahi, which came with a ceasar salad, baked potato and rolls for $15 total.
The prime rib is great but it's been hit or miss lately. I've had to send it back as it came a little too rare when asking for medium rare.
The food overall is incredible and drinks are strong, waitress has always been quick to make sure you don't have to ask for another one. Spending around $100 a person each time I go, overall one of the better restaurants I've been to.
Awesome view and food. Monday night is steak night and have never had a better steak! The view of the Mount of Point Loma is breathtaking!
Very cool place. Great food! We had sauteed mushrooms for an appetizer along with bread and butter, and crunchy coconut combo and bacon wrapped filet mignon for dinner. We were so full by the end we took food home and could not fit in dessert, but we'll be back for that some other night. Everything is homemade and amazing, including the sauces (tartar, plum, blue cheese, and cocktail)!
