We are from out of town, visiting, and some family of ours brought us to this place. The atmosphere was just perfect and the food, Baja meal, was on point.
My family and I live in Menifee, CA. Riverside county. And we drive to old town San Diego just to eat in Rockin' Baja Lobster which is 82 miles away and it's worth every mile. We celebrate our birthdays there, best Shrimp ever. We Love it!!!
The food and ambiance is absolutely amazing. All the vibrant color’s throughout the restaurant is so artsy.
The food comes out fresh and quick. They have a large salsa bar with different types of condiments.
They also give you pretty large portion sizes. This place is a MUST if you’re visiting San Diego. I love everything 🫶

We had a great time with an old friend and a new one. The atmosphere was great, and the live music was awesome. We also enjoyed watching everyone get up and dance. All the smiles and laughter were great. We will definitely be going back.

Really good seafood!! We had the original bucket for two. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly, especially the lobsters! You can try out all of their different sauces from the “sauce station”. The place was busting with people on the weekends, and much more quieter during the week. Our server was friendly and efficient, and overall it’s a clean and lively restaurant. Recommend!
This place is amazing, I loved the open air indoor/outdoor area that we where seated in. The food could not have been any better. If you leave here hungry your not doing it right. I got the taste of Baja Bucket, Great! Keep up the good work.
Authentic Mexican restaurant serving seafood and mexican food with 6+ types of salsa available. Large restaurant with mostly patio seats both outside and inside. Chips were fresh made...salsa bar with choices of pickled peppers available to add to the meal. All salsas were tasty and spiced well, not just "heat". Fish and chips, fish was flakey, chips, not crispy enough, Wish they were straight cut fresh fries. Blackened fish tacos is made with white fish with a good coleslaw to give it a crunch and sweet taste. Food mate had the steak tacos, which I'm told is very good. Cost around $20 per plate.
Great food and atmosphere. Parking can be tricky but they valet for $6! They serve chips right away and you can choose your own salsa from the salsa bar. The Baja buckets are the way to go, lobster shrimp, steak, chicken and corn! The ice tea was good too! If you like seafood and Mexican food then you will love this place!

The place has a real Baja vibe. I ordered the Baja seafood bucket. Really good. Often you order crab or lobster and they've been steaming so long the shell mushy. Not here! You can hear the crack up in San Onofre!
The crab and shrimp have a unique seasoning that can be described as Old Bay goes Baja!
Salsa bar options go from gringo to surface of the sun!
The chipotle was my favorite!

If you enjoy lobster and seafood this is your place. So delicious!!! Great for large or small parties. They have a business friendly/bar area and a family friendly area. Well done.
