Quiet coffee shop! Coffee and Pastries look inviting, but today I only had the drip coffee. Breakfast and food are available if you want it. Sit outside on the chairs in front to people watch, or not.
Thank you so much for a beautiful and delicious cake! We had a great experience with Twiggs - we met with Bernie (before he and Dan sold the business), had a beautiful tasting experience, and reserved our cake and date. We had a seamless transition with the new ownership, and we couldn’t have been happier with the cake at our wedding! We selected Victorian Wedding Cake and Lemon Poppyseed and they were both very moist and flavorful, and a great hit with our guests. The semi-naked look was executed perfectly (floral decoration was added by our florist). There were no issues with the delivery or coordination either, just great professionalism. Highly recommend them for any event cakes!
Good place!!! I was on business in San Diego and stopped in on Maps suggestion. It was a nice service and it seemed sincere. While we sat enjoying our lunch, we saw some people coming in who were greeted by name and knew their orders. I've got one of the best sellers and that's perfect!
Twiggs makes the best cakes around! They made a passion fruit layered cake for our wedding which was delicious. I ordered a repeat of this cake for our two year anniversary and loved it even more. I recently had a strawberry shortcut cake for my graduation and it was amazing with an excellent amount of strawberry frosting! The detail in the decoration was beautiful. The staff is always super helpful and accommodating to support with cake orders. This is our go to cake spot. Thank you, Twiggs!
Had a custom cake made and kind of last minute due to another place not being able to do it. They agreed to do it and come through with flying colors. My husband loved it for his birthday. I will be using them again for my son's birthday. Pictures are of the actual hat and what Twiggs Bakery was able to do.
We got our wedding cake and desserts from here. Communication was fast and responsive and they were so flexible with all the changes I made. We did their cake tasting beforehand and that was super helpful as well.
The cake turned out beautifully and there was literally no dessert left at the end of the night, they were gone instantly!

Customer service excellent. They tread you, like they know you for long time. Staff is really nice! The breakfast sandwich are the best. Pastries are really good. A lot varieties of pastries. Caffe latte is really good. Clean place !!! Good prices on everything.
Best experience ever. I needed a themed cake & cupcakes for my sons birthday party. I contacted them through email about 3-4 weeks in advance. And they sent me a design and voila’ picked up a day in advance and we got so many compliments on cake and cupcakes that matched because (covid & my son got to blow birthday candles on an actual cake). Thanks Twiggs bakery!!

Having previously gotten a grooms cake for my son in law when he married my daughter, I thought it only fair I do the same for my son's wedding. Not an easy task when you live on the east coast and the wedding was taking place in San Diego. I also wanted it to be a secret. After deciding on a flavor and design that was fitting not only for my son but his fiance', I was easily able to narrow down my search to Twiggs Bakery & Coffeehouse. While there was a slight misunderstanding as to the type of cake topper design I wanted based on emails, this was easily corrected with a phone call. They even looked at an Instagram page in order to duplicate the couples cats. I was excited not only to see, but taste, the finished product that was delivered to the Cuvier Club on September 7th. It exceeded my expectations and everyone commented not just how fantastic it looked but how delicious it tasted. This was definitely one of the best cakes I have ever had. Don't hesitate to contact Twiggs if your looking for that special cake.
