J Anthonys is delicious. From the fish to the shrimp, and the hushpuppies. I constantly go back, and will continue to forever.

Good but not great. We tried this spot after I was hit with a craving for seafood. Prices are very inexpensive (The most expensive item on the menu is the Fisherman's Platter for $12.99). Most dishes are between 6 and 9 dollars.
I had the Seafood platter, 2 filets of pollock, 2 jumbo shrimp and 2 oysters. Plate comes with 2 sides. I opted for the mash potatoes and 'Cajun rice'. The rice tasted like Spanish rice with a fair amount of cayenne pepper added. It wasn't Cajun dirty rice but the flavor was good. The mash potatoes were good but unremarkable.
The fried pollack was okay. The filets were thin and fried until dry and tough. I'll pass on the fired fish in the future. The fried shrimp was good but unremarkable. The fried oysters were very good, and extremely large. Next time i go back I'll have the shrimp and oyster plate. My daughter had the Caldo Marisco. The soup was good, light tomato-seafood broth with loads of fish, shrimp, oysters, octopus, and crab-ez. Yes they use artificial crab meat made from pollack. Kind of disappointing, but I understand it's a way of keeping prices low. I will be back if in the area, but won't make a special trip.
The catfish was on point and the fried cod was really good. The jalepeno hush puppies are wonderful. Good tartar sauce and friendly staff. Big Red was a nice surprise. Definitely going back.
Ordered at the window, great customer service. We got home, and the food was hot, and really good! Tasty fish, crispy fries and cajun rice was so good! Somehow, we didn't get tarter sauce, but nobody complained because the fish was so good with only lemon! We will definitely be going back!
Any of the seafood plates are always great. For those that don’t mind spicy soups, they too are always great. The consistency of the food is what always brings me back

Best fish, shrimp, and sides. Many choices and combos. Quick courteous service.
