Stopped in late one Sunday morning on my way back to Houston. A buddy and I were just looking for something to eat, didn't really matter, just something to fill an empty spot. I ordered the Carne Guisada and it was really good! So good that I ordered another one to go for dinner that night. I almost always order it when I stop at a new place, just to check and see how good a place really is. Now, I grew up eating Carne Guisada that has a brown/grayish color to it, not this red looking stuff cooked in tomatoes. And let me tell you, there are not many places that cook the real stuff. You need to get there early, because my to go order was the last of the day. Not sure if that is normal, but it happend that morning.

The place is good, ok prices. But the waits can be pretty long even with a low amount of customers.
Lots of Mexican snack varieties. They sell the authentic Mexican corn (the white one) both in cup and whole. We tried the Mangala. Real good.
I love the elotes en vaso. I highly recommend this place. Its authentic. 😋😋
