We made a food stop here after having lunch because it was recommended by a friend and it was totally worth it.
I had a torta dipped in the sauce (ahogada) and the Jericalla (Flan) dessert.
I wish I would have been able to eat more. Even if I was not in the area, I would make the drive.
The place is clean and the people are friendly.

Colorful place with lively music, fun art, excellent service and yummy food. Reasonably priced. Great for hanging out with friends or a date, The featured tacos are the way to go. I loved my al pastor taco. I also liked the chips and salsa and guacamole. My 6 year old loved her pork tacos and the staff was very accommodating to make her a plain one since she’s picky.

This spot is a gem. That food is just fantastically delicious. Holy hell. It was DAMN GOOD.
That torta ahogada was so good.
Them nachos were too much to finish but in a good way, I got the itis.
The atmosphere is on point, on brand and vibes upon vibes.
I can honestly say I’ve never seen this dish anywhere else and it was great. The torta comes with your choice of pork- shoulder, stomach, skin (or combo of any) served in a tomato sauce. (Not salsa) the bread was so good and really makes the sandwich. Staff was super friendly and helpful to me as I’d didn’t know about this type of food.
If you're looking for a real Torta Ahogada, or simply to cure a horrible hungover, this is the spot. We came here as per some recommendations in social media and they were totally right. The bread (which usually is not the traditional one for a torta Ahogada) surprised us to be very very legit, apparently they bake it there and it tastes delicious. The sauce, the meat and the spicy sauce is also really good. You can mix different types of meat, I highly recommend the "Buche", it was perfectly cooked and even a bit crunchy in a few parts. The carnitas and cueritos were very good as well. The dishes are very well served so even one torta can be shared by two, just make sure to ask for a Taco Dorado or even a soft taco, you won't be disappointed by any of those too. The service is fast and prices are accessible.
A friend took me to this spot for lunch on 9-7-23. He had raved about how great the food was here and insisted we try it for ourselves!
It's a little off the beaten path and very small, but the food is tasty! The decor inside is very fun! Shown in my photo is the torta ahogada with a mix of of the pork butt carnitas and pork stomach carnitas. The woman at the counter let me try a sample of both meats before deciding!
The sodas in a glass bottle were priced at $3+, so if you're on a budget, plan to get a water cup (which I did)!
Delicious food and very casual atmosphere. Would recommend!
Wow, amazing food from a simple, tight menu! Torta ahogada with mix of pork butt and stomach is awesome. Also had tacos Al pastor special which was wonderful. The red sauce in the table has a kick 😎
The best tortas ahogadas ever! I have been coming to RoHo since 2015, from the beginning to now the quality of the food has never faltered. I love that we see the chef often and he is passionate about his business and customers. It shows in his service, the flavor of the food and the dedication of the staff! If you want a real Mexican dish/food experience this is the place to come to.
Haven’t had a lunch this delicious and this ridiculously fast in a long time. Just had my first torta ahogada, and I’ll never be the same. Brenda was awesome, and the whole staff took great care of me. The place is also just cool to sit in. A tiny hidden treasure.
Been patronizing RO-HO since their old location, it’s always good, the Tortas ahogadas are as original as you can get … but the Taco al pastor, what a gem, hopefully it becomes a permanent item 😉.
