When they say XL burrito, they mean it. The food was delicious. The indoor seating is really small, but they have additional patio seating when weather permits. The style is similar to that of Chipotle and the staff is very nice. I will definitely remember this place when I'm in the Medical Center area
Oh man! Where to start?? First off the decor is pleasantly quirky with a Mexican Wrestling theme- very clean and modern inside. The food likewise was fantastic! They have plenty of authentic choices to build either a taco, small burrito, or large burrito. I had cochinita pibil and my wife had the tinga, both of which were delicious. Finally, the food was fabulously priced, with both our meals and a drink in the teens. Honestly, I can't say enough about how pleasant the experience was. We will definitely be going back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food and service was great. I got the 14" burrito with pork and steak. Both meats were great tasting. Couldn't stop and ended up finishing the entire burrito because it was so good. Would definitely recommend.
Outstanding Service!!! Delicious flavor filled food! Large party tried everything! And it's ALL good!!! Aguas frescas y Mexican cokes y paletas for dessert. Perfect!!!! Bright colorful friendly & lucha libre atmosphere! We ate outside on the patio!
Macho Libre is my new favorite place. The food is outstanding! Fresh, scratch made and truly delicious. There service is top notch, the servers are extremely helpful in picking just want you want. I have eaten there many times, there are dozens of places to choose from in that area, for me it's Macho Libre. I actually travel about 30 miles in from the hill country just to eat here. Always fresh, always friendly, always perfect and truly affordable.
I'm always skeptic of trying new "Mexican food" places. Most places paint Tex-Mex as authentic Mexican food, and cater to a different demographic than real Mexicans. I'm extremly happy of being wrong about this place. The moment I got home and took out the paper bag with my Barbacoa Quesadillas and saw the greese on the bag, my heart felt rejoice that I did a good purchase. The Barbacoa was tender, full of flavor, and greesy. The cheese was okay, but i don't expect actual good cheese in America so no stars deducted for that. I couldn't point out if the Jamaica water was natural or not, THIS IS NOT A BAD THING AT ALL!! Every time I order Jamaica water in San Antonio it taste artificial, so it's a breeze of fresh air to actually taste something close to natural. It's a little bit pricey for what it is, but I will gladly pay a premium price for something that reminds me of home.
If Chipote took Mexican food and made it more accessible, this place takess what works at fast-casual and makes it authentic. Had a great big burrito and Mexican soda. New addition to my lunch spots!

First time going, the agua fresca are amazing. The only downfall was the temperature of the tortillas, wish they were a bit warmer The staffs attitude is amazing, energy and appreciation for the customer that has not been seen in a while from similar sized establishments. will go back
