I went on thanksgiving dinner. Food was great as always. They were short staffed. Not only my server but everyone who works there helped serving our food and water. Bless their hearts. I had great thanksgiving nights at Johnny Carino‘s. This is the only Johnny Carino’s in SA. I hope they don’t close.
Prices are similar to other Italian restaurants, and the food was actually good! Each entree included a house salad. The waitor was also very attentive and helpful. We will definitely try this restaurant again.
I absolutely love the small lunch pizza (4 slices) with unlimited house salad. The pizza is crispy and has an authentic Italian pizzeria taste to it. This is always my go to when I eat here and at $11.99 it's a great deal.
We went for our anniversary. Our server was Reem. Was a sweet young lady. Knowledgeable, pleasant and very good at her position. She knows the menu, she make great suggestions. She even has great bar recommendations. Ask for her when you dine.
The only thing that bothered me is some bell that kept going off, very annoying. Not our server's fault.

My wife and I love Italian food and we come here often because unlike many of San Antonio's "Italian" restaurants, they don't f it up! They're consistent in their quality, the food tastes really good, pastas are not frenched in sauce and cooked aldante. You get what you expect here with good comfort Italian food. And the cheese cake is amazing. Try the turtle cheese cake.
The food was pretty good here. The fried ravioli was amazing! I will definitely be back for more of those! I ate them so fast I forgot to take a photo.

Shout out to Noah H. He was such a pleasant waiter. That smile :) I appreciate that the kids meal was sent out with the salads. Our food was great. Perfect amount of attentiveness. No complaints here. This is one spot my mom loves to go to when I visit and this has been one of the best experiences.
Best presentation of a chicken ceaser salad I have seen. I did order it without tomatoes and black olives. It tasted great. If you wanna argue, come and try it yourself. The person who prepped this salad is available Friday mornings.
Food was good and the server was great. Tried a new dish and didn’t like it much. I’ll stick to my usual next time lol
